**This past Saturday, we made a trip to Asheville and were able to drop off a load of donations to FurEver Friends Animal Rescue, est 2002. They were incredibly grateful for the support! They have been distributing supplies out to some of their contacts in Asheville, Black Mountain and surrounding areas. They have been helping deliver supplies out to people that still can't get out.

Thank you to Berida Herman Counts and her army of friends and all the other people that donated.

While we were in WNC, we learned that many in the community are still struggling. Some people are living in tents, others in campers, and some have managed to get back into their homes but are without heat. It's heartbreaking to hear, but it’s also a reminder that there’s still so much need in our communities.
We are continuing to gather donations and will plan to make trips to WNC again over the next several weeks with much needed supplies.
They still need warm blankets, electric blankets, space heaters, cat litter, canned dog and cat food. Every little bit helps! 💕
