We are a small county animal shelter that works to find homes for all dogs & cats that come into our facility. How do you contact Christian County Animal Control after hours? If you live inside the Taylorville city limits you must call the Taylorville Police Department at 824-2211. If you live in the County and not the Taylorville city limits you must call the Christian County Sheriff’s office at 824-4961.

This is Sarge he is looking for a new home.He is a little over a year old, is shy but sweet, has been around other dogs and been fine with them but not small animals. He is a quick learner and will need some guidance as he has been an outside dog. He is unaltered and will need up to date on shots.

Blaze is a 5 year old Rottweiler who does best with dogs her size or an only pet. Absolutely no small animals. She is very lovable and does great with kids who are old enough to not be knocked over due to her size.

Sarephina is a 3 1/2 year old German shepherd who is spayed. She does fine with other dogs but will chase cats and other small animals. She is very gentle with kids and if left unattended she will jump the fence.

I’m Judge ! I am on the hunt for my forever family. I am a very good boy. I love people and act somewhat shy of other dogs. I’m around 8 months old. I would love for you to come meet me because you’re guaranteed to fall in love. I’m not a fan of kids!
