We are a small county animal shelter that works to find homes for all dogs & cats that come into our facility. How do you contact Christian County Animal Control after hours? If you live inside the Taylorville city limits you must call the Taylorville Police Department at 824-2211. If you live in the County and not the Taylorville city limits you must call the Christian County Sheriff’s office at 824-4961.

Time pressing: This good looking duo is looking for new homes due to no fault of their own. They are not at CCAC, if interested please call 824-5433 and we can pass your information along to the owners.

Meet Bandit an intact 6 year old male pit he is good with kids and cats. Needs to be only boy or if possible stay with his sister. He is very loving and lazy. House/crate trained does not make messes.

Also introducing his sister Cherry spayed 3 year old Doberman/Lab mix. She is good with kids, cats and other dogs. She is very loving, cuddly and active. House/crate trained does not make messes.

Barney & Fred wanted everyone to know they will make PAW-FECT Valentines for someone. They haven’t had any applications put in for them yet and are starting to worry they won’t find their forever homes. They cannot wait to meet you!
