The family farm produces high quality coastal and Tipton 85 hay and offers grazing land for cattle. The company consists of a family heritage that has been in hay production and commercial hay operations since the late 1970's. This hay farm operates with a pivot irrigation system in its production capabilities that enhances production of high quality native coastal and Tipton 85 hay.

Hay update Summer 2023

Coastal meadows are fertilized and watering is running (after a few tweaks to a few nozzle checks!).

Cutting and baling horse quality square bales in early July!

We are baling squares this week. Several people had orders since our last cutting. We irrigated every day during the drought literally right up to the rains hitting and our hay meadows were full of hay when we cut them. You can almost jump from bale to bale!

If you want Quality square bale coastal hay, let us know as supplies are limited given the orders we have to fill.

Thankful to God for the rain and weather change!

Fall is coming and winter could be cold, glad many can get a fall cutting to help out their livestock.

The water is running for the next crop of hay. Pray for rain and for many who are in dire need, as are we in freestone county. The pivot is running, (and the electricity meter is as well) and we are making the next crop of high quality hay.

We will have more square bales for sale in 30 days, and have a few left in the barn if you need them, so let us know and we can get you loaded up.

Irrigated, fertilized heavily and baled the right way with beautiful color.

$12\bale in the barn in 21 bale bundles. $252/bundle.

Fertlizer, electricity, diesel, wire and almost everything has almost doubled this year. We had to raise prices and hope all of the cost will go down. We strive to produce the best quality hay we can and I think you will find our quality is exceptional, so this is not your average bale of hay. Weights run 65lbs per bale (no small or light weight bales as our machine requires a longer bale to bundle).

Thank you to all who purchased hay from the field this week and saved $$. Your business is appreciated and needed to get thru this season.
