Madison Sky Branham and RC Redemption made it to the Final Round! Finals are Sunday!

Wow! It's been a whirlwind here at the 2024 EXCA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! Yesterday Madison Sky Branham and I competed. Maddie is sitting in a tough, but possible placing to make it into the top 10 Sunday finals. She and I will ride tomorrow in the 2nd go. Charmer and I made some mistakes, so we are going to give it our all tomorrow and see what happens.
Windy Gray Cummings had a phenomenal ride today in the 2nd round! She came up 10 placings from Round 1 to Round 2! The true grit of this amazing cowgirl, her determination to be a better horseman, and to keep her horse first has proven to help her horse get better physically and mentally better. So very proud of their progress! Madison will ride Redemption in Round 2 Open Mustang this afternoon!!

Windy Gray Cummings and Chrome made it through Round 1 Novice division! Chrome has been having some physical and mental setbacks the last couple of weeks. However, they bounced back well in Round 1. They have some ground to cover going into Round 2 on Fri, but good progress is being made between this new pair! Windy has only owned Chrome for a short time and has less than 60 rides on him to get to know him and become a well oiled partnership. I am very proud of them both!
Madison Sky Branham has only been competing and riding RC Redemption since Spring! American Patriot is on the injured list, so Redemption is her back up! They are becoming more and more intune with each other! They are sitting in 9th place after the first round in Open Mustang.

It's almost Game day!! I woke up this am thinking about the past 18 plus years of EXCA World Championships. And this day, the day before it all starts. Words that run through my head, some my own, some from other competitors and students. Excited, nervous, ready, not so ready, worried, focused, and many more. Emotions that align with those words? Hmmmm so many powerful ones. Just remember all of us whether Pros or Amateurs, even our Judges and Volunteers are all feeling so many things. We all can use encouragement and words that uplift us and our horses! The impact encouragement sends will ripple through all of us!! We got this!!

And Miss Lucky Charm AQHA and RC Redemptions in the Youth Division. I will be competing on Miss Lucky Charm in the Pro division!

On our way to the EXCA World Championships! A couple stops first though! First up amazing State Park in Oklahoma! We had a great day on the trails. It's so important to have well trained horses for trail riding. Charmer and Remmi did amazing! So much fun relaxing and riding with my girl Madison! Moonshine & Micki with us too!

MORE ABOUT CINDY BRANHAM AND THE ROCKIN RC FAMILY-

With now over 30 + years of horse training experience, at one time this determined horsewoman wanted more than just a degree from the school of hard knocks. "I had been training horses from a very early age and had a successful program, but there came a time when I knew there was more the Lord wanted for me. It was time to take my training program to the next level." So Cindy sought out one of the most proven and well known teachers in the industry, John & Josh Lyons. "John Lyons has always been one of my heroes." Cindy invested in her career and became a certified trainer in the John & Josh Lyons Certification Program. She even graduated with the honor and title of "Select" trainer.

Cindy has had a very successful Coaching and Training program. From coaching students from the start of their equine education to them winning local, National, and World Championship titles and year end awards. Students of all ages have excelled under the direction of Cindy Branham. "Coaching a student from the start and seeing them succeed in the small victories of confidence is the most rewarding part of my career." -- Cindy Branham Cindy has been a crowd favorite at Kansas Equifest and the Iowa Horse Fair. Cindy not only knows how to train horses, she knows how to teach people. Two traits that aren't always guaranteed to come together. Mustangs have been a huge part of Cindy's life in the past several years. Starting in 2007 in the very first Extreme Mustang Makeover, Cindy has been a top competitor making it to the finals and Reserve Champion Mustang Magic. She and her horse Tucker the Mustang have been finalists in Extreme Cowboy Races, The Televised America's Favorite Trail Horse Competition, Reserve Battle of the Breeds Champion Equifest of Kansas, and The Worlds Most Beautiful Horse Grand Champion. Cindy Branham has been a featured guest on Rick Lambs RFD TV Show and multiple times in the Extreme Mustang Makeover RFD TV Specials.

My family's and my true hope and goal for our business it to clearly teach about the true beauty and grace of God, and how it is revealed to us through the horse. There is a great lesson to be learned here. It's understanding the transformation of a wild untrained horse to a submissive meek horse; and his desire to have a trusting and loving relationship with humans.

We are much like a wild untrained horse that needs to understand Gods ways and submit our lives to His will, in that, we may find the joy of the Lord in serving Him.
