It’s important to make sure your dogs paws are protected during hot weather! If it’s too hot for you to walk on pavement barefoot, it’s too hot for your dog! 🥵

Avoid walks during peak heat hours and opt for going earlier in the morning or later at night when temperatures are cooler.

Make sure to keep them hydrated to avoid overheating and dehydration! 🐾☀️💦

It’s Experiment Time! 🔬

We conducted an experiment to show how food breaks down in the animals stomach and to show off the cool effect that happens when you add Optigest!

We took 2 jars, added water and filled them both with kibble, air dried food, freeze dried food, and canned food. One jar we added the Optigest powder, the other we left as is. We then took a picture of how the food started to break down over time. This experiment took place over the course of 5 hours and 35 minutes.

As time passed, you can see that the jar with the Optigest starts to break down the food, while the jar without, still has visible kibble pieces that have expanded from absorbing the water.
