There is much to be impressed by in this video. First, Fynn is not even a year old yet. Second, this is his first session of scent detection work away from home. Third, there was a lot going on at Tractor Supply, traffic, noise, people, dogs. Lastly, he is working on perfecting his down alert that we added to his program recently. Not only did he do really well at this search, he had a couple other successful searches in this area and also did 2 super excellent searches inside the store among the shoppers and employees in tight quarters.

Youngsters Cooper and Bo doing a good job of stays with things going on around them. First, they are being allowed to interact for a few minutes and then asked to sit right next to each other and mind their own business. Second, there is another dog being walked around right next to them. Third, I threw Coopers favorite tug toy over their heads. Such good work.
Baby Fezzik is learning that when he leaves his handler to stick to the odor he's searching for he gets the goodies.
9 month old Maggie showing off her scent-work skills. This is a very tricky odor picture for her to solve, scent is bouncing from the source on the pillar off the wall of the building and there is sort of a wind tunnel blowing through there also. This hide is a good distance above her head, and looking up is a skill that takes dogs a while to master. Her handler did a great job of staying out of her way and letting her take all the time she needed to solve the problem.
11 week old Tinsel practices her sit.
Maggie is the number one NASDA Basset Hound in North America! She picked up rat scent on the cone then caught the air scent and went directly to the rat.
