This girl with the FABULOUS ears has completed her 2nd round of Pawsitive Change! Loretta has grown up in our rescue. Coming to us as a tiny puppy she’s just never found her perfect adoption match and we’re hopeful this 2nd round of training will do the trick. Loretta deserves to have a family. Every single one of these dogs do! So let’s change her luck and find that perfect home.

Loretta had graduated and we’d love to see her paired with an active family who will continue her training and provide for her mental and energy needs. She’s fun and energetic and enjoys other dogs. McNabs are known for their loyal nature and keen intelligence. A hardy breed they were bred to withstand California’s rugged terrain but aren’t as hyperactive as most other herding breeds. We believe this is exactly what the beautiful Silas’ heritage is. He fits the bill both in personality and looks. An uncommon breed for sure but as we are situated in an agricultural community we see a lot of McNabs and other herding breeds come through our shelter system. If you’re looking for something as unusual as a McNab Silas wont disappoint. He’s a beautiful example of the breed incredibly loyal to the people in his life with the protective instincts some families want. He’s eager to please and even more eager to bond. This boy needs a family of his own.

We wish we knew Silas’ story. All we know is he was adopted from our county shelter in September of last year and then ended up back at the shelter January of this year. His adoptive family never came for him and he was out of time. Every single volunteer and staff member at the shelter loved this sweet boy so we had to give him his chance. This time we are determined to ensure his future family is a good one and Silas will never be abandoned again!

Silas would be a wonderful addition to most homes. He’s extremely sweet and social. He loves other dogs and has a playful fun personality. He’s super smart already picking up on training activies with ranch staff and very eager to please. This big boy is very in tune to the people in his life and wants to bond with them so bad. He just needs that perfect family to bond with. If you’re looking for a less common breed and a really cool dog consider giving Silas the home he’s waiting for. He’s waiting patiently for you!

Liberty is a true embodiment of resilience. She was rescued from a heartbreaking case of animal abuse in Cal City, where she was confined to a crate and starved. Severely malnourished and on the brink of death, she was brought to our Rescue to begin her healing journey (scroll to last photos to see how far Liberty has come). Despite her frailty, Liberty arrived at our ranch with an incredible spirit—never shutting down or distrusting the people around her. She greeted us with a heart full of love, showering us with kisses and affection. Her amazing temperament is a testament to her strength and the kindness that unwaveringly thrives within her. Liberty has been through so much and is ready for her happy ending, that she so truly deserves.
