Lindsey Llewellyn: Is a Realtor in the Ridgecrest area for over three years and barrel races with us here at TMBR. Her daughter Finn also rides. Lindsey has a passion for helping people buy and sell, so if you live in the Ridgecrest area please feel free to reach out to her for your real estate needs.

Doug Slavin: Doug Slavin has been a realtor for ten years and resides in the Tehachapi area. He also manages the Bear Valley Springs Equestrian Center and also rides horses. Emily Backes is a fellow barrel racer, mom and wife that resides in Tehachapi as well. When not barrel racing she enjoys watching her girls play soccer and spending time with her family. Thank you for supporting TMBR, Emily!

BCI Contractors owned by Darrin & Karen Bowe, reside in Tehachapi, CA. Karen & Darrin have also produced barrel races for several years that many know as Bo-V arena. They have supported us here at TMBR from the beginning and we appreciate them a ton!

BS Welding Mechanical owned by Brandon Llewellyn has been in the welding industry for ten years and specializes in industrial welding and heavy equipment fabrication. His wife is Lindsey Llewellyn who barrel races as well.

Few things to chat about for our barrel races 😀

Let’s talk gate entry in the arena. We did not have gates before and they were recently added because some people felt we needed them. With that said, either we need a gate volunteer or we leave them open and if you feel you need them closed during your run, you can close them when you go in your set.

We already pay our barrel setters so no one has to volunteer and can enjoy their time here without feeling like they need to help (that’s why our arena fee is $10). I don’t want to up the arena fee for a gate person too. So again, gate person volunteers would be appreciated, or we can leave them open and you close it when you go behind the wings during your set if you want them closed.

Exhibitions/Time Onlies—if you pay for unlimited time onlies and there are multiple people in the arena; you’ll need to do one time only and then get back in line. This is so everyone has a chance to get through the pattern.

Parking—there is a TON of space for parking here. Please don’t pull up behind the stakes by the concession stand and announcers booth. It’s nice to park close to the arena, but just back in please.

Pending weather of course but it’s been mild so far so let’s hope the first race of the year is amazing!!! I’m ready to see yall smash some goals in our arena 💅💪🏻💃🏻 And I’m having producer withdrawals since is been almost two months since we’ve had a race at the ranch!
