We are offically finished grooming for 2023! We will be out until January 2nd. If you need to make an appointment, send me a text, fb message or leave a voicemail and we will get back with you next year. 😄

We had a great time in the parade today with our Warm Waggin' Wishes and Sloppy Christmas Kisses float! The dogs were all stars today and were so well behaved. We loved seeing all the dogs that attended the parade. There were so many that we unfortunately ran out of dog toys. Thanks so much to everyone who participated!

Happy Thanksgiving from St. Louis! The dogs were represented in the parade this morning! Purina was even handing out full size bags of beggin strips. Our dogs will be happy!

It's that time of year when all of the dogs need to be groomed up for the holidays but unfortunately we are completely booked up for the remainder of 2023. I am taking appointments for January and will be ready soon to start booking out through the months of 2024. I will announce it once our scheduled time off is marked for next year so that those of you that book out multiple appointments can get them all set up. Thanks!

These two costumes stole my heart but they are ineligible to win because they are apart of the Waggin' Main family. Check out our fur nephew, Sarge, as a cowboy, my best friend's dog Cinnamon as a Buc-ee's shopper and my mom and dad's dog Fancy who didn't dress up but is just so cute!!

You all made this difficult this year!! 😵💫 I think we are going to have to have more categories next year because we had so much trouble choosing but here are our 2023 Witches Wag winners!! Sage Anna the wicked witch wins scariest costume, Lily wins cutest a Shaggy, Briggs got most creative/original as Duke the baked bean dog and Sid got our honorable mention as a tiger! Thank you so much to everyone who participated! Stay tuned for a post with pictures of all the dogs!

We have been shopping!
We have the prizes for the Witches Wag! Most creative, scariest and cutest will take home a cute bag filled with goodies including: a throw blanket, 3 squeaky toys, a Waggin' Main shirt and a treat bag full of dog cookies! This event will be going on during the Witches Walk on the City Hall Park stage.
We also have a gift set that can be purchased at the Back the Blue BBQ for Heather Glenn's famoly and fellow officers on 10/14/23.
Last but not least, we also have the prize for the Tower of Terror Pet Costume Contest on October 7th!

Happy Birthday to our fur niece, Ruby! I had to share this adorable picture. She has been away at training for several weeks and just got home today. Look how happy Sarge is to have her home. 😍

Waggin' Main is Florida bound and will be closed all week! We will be back in the shop on Monday, the 18th. See you all then!

Wow. What a day! We were blown away by the turnout we had this year! We raised $291 for the shelter plus the donations of requested items! Thank you so much to everyone who helped out today! Thanks to the Frontier Girls and their families for helping, thanks to the Clark family for making and selling the lemonade and breads, thanks to Pollys Thyme for all of the yummy baked goods, thanks to the Hambys for the face painting, thanks to PokeRocks IN for our awesome rocks and thanks to the ladies from the shelter for hanging out with us! We had a great time and can't wait for next year! Thank you to everyone who Wagged on in and helped our furry friends!

Sweet baby
Had the privelage of providing a safe place for this sweet baby yesterday. He was rescued from neglect and being left out in the hot with his matted fur. Kim Strobel saved him and found him a loving home. While we didn't have time to shave him yesterday, thankfully Classic Canine did. So thankful he is going to be cared for now and has gotten those painful matts shaved off. If you see a dog suffering, please say something. Matted fur is incredibly painful. The pups deserve better. ♥️ Also, please never be afraid to bring your dogs in to us if you find yourself in a situation where your dog's coat has gotten out of hand. We promise to be kind and will not shame you. We just want to help them. Before and after pics of his hair cut in the comments.

So change of plans, we have decided to hold off on the building and instead, are turning our lobby into a daycare area. Look at all of the space we have made by rearranging! Now to order toys!
