When is it too cold for dogs and how to keep them safe🐾♥️🥶

• 45°F (7°C) and below: Most dogs will start to feel uncomfortable
• 32°F (0°C) and below: Small, thin-coated, young, old, and sick dogs should not be left outside for long
• 20°F (-7°C) and below: Dogs are vulnerable to hypothermia and frostbite
Signs that your dog is cold
• Shivering
• Whining
• Acting anxious
• Slowing down or stopping moving
• Looking for warm places to burrow
• Holding up one or more paws
• Extended periods of lying down
• Being extremely sleepy or lethargic

How to keep your dog safe in cold weather

• Provide shelter. Bring your dog inside when it's cold. If you can't bring them inside, provide a dry, draft-free enclosure. Straw is one of the best and cheapest way to line their enclosures. Giving them a dry place to be in and some warmth.
• Protect their paws. Apply petroleum jelly or a vet-approved paw protectant before going outside. You can also use booties to protect their feet from salt, sand, and chemicals.
• Dress them warmly. Use a sweater or coat with a high collar or turtleneck.
• Monitor their behavior. Keep a close eye on your dog's behavior and bring them inside if they're showing signs of being cold

Pa it’s Yorkies great energy and for Ma it’s English Setters for their loyalty.
