Meet the staff Monday - Dr. Brown💙 We are so excited to introduce another doctor to our Care Animal Hospital family! Here is just a little about her:

I grew up near Berkeley, CA, and my first outing as an infant was to the Oakland Zoo. I've spent my entire life since then surrounding myself with animals, both at home and at work. I have worked as a dog walker, pet sitter, veterinary assistant, and even as an avian point count technician for a research project in the marshes of Delaware.
While I love all animals, my biggest passion is wildlife medicine. I graduated with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from UC Davis in 2018 before continuing my education at Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY.
In my free time I can usually be found hiking or birding with my husband, or snuggling up with my two cats while reading a good book.

Yes, pet rabbits need annual check ups and vaccines just like cats and dogs! The RHDV vaccine protects against rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus which infects wild and domestic species of rabbits and is highly contagious.
Let us know if you would like to get your rabbit seen so they can stay safe and healthy.
