WHAT ARE MICROGREENS?

When I am asked what I do, I love telling people that I own an urban farm and I grow microgreens. 90% of people I talk to have no idea what I am talking about.
This is fantastic because it allows me to introduce so many people to the world of microgreens. It is something that I am very passionate about and I love telling my story about how micros have forever changed my life.

So….. What are Microgreens ? Micros are one of the most nutritious raw foods available. A microgreen is harvested at the greens earliest stage of development right after the sprouting stage. The microgreen stage is when we harvest as it is the point in which they are at the most delicious and nutritious.
