Meet Chalky, our smiley husky boy who has completely stolen our hearts 💙

He came to Lost Our Home as a stray over 200 days ago and he’s been patiently waiting ever since.

While Chalky is one of the happiest boys we've ever met, shelter life just isn’t where he wants to be, and he’s more than ready for a home of his own 🏡 This 5-year-old sweetheart is a cuddle bug, loves outdoor adventures, and truly has a way of making you smile any moment you see him.

Chalky would make an amazing family dog, he's extremely friendly, and loves toys and food. After more than six months with us, we know his people are out there, and we can’t wait for him to finally experience the love and stability he deserves.

If you’re looking for a playful, lovable companion with a little sass and a whole lot of heart…Chalky is READY to go home. 🐶🐾

December delivered something truly special 🎁 ✨

101 DESERVING PETS WERE ADOPTED‼️

That means over 100 fur babies are spending their winter safe, loved and HOME. We also celebrated 14 sweet pets returning to their families just in time for the holidays through our Temporary Care Program and 2 pets are now home safe through our First Responders Program 🥹💙

Every one of these outcomes reflects the care, generosity, and compassion that surrounds the Lost Our Home community.

As we head into a new year, you can help us keep this momentum going by adopting, fostering, volunteering, making a gift, sending an item from our wish list, or simply sharing our mission so more families know the support is available.

Calling all dog lovers! 🎉 Join us on January 17 at Tempe Marketplace. We’re teaming up with for the ultimate ✨FREE✨ Dog Pawty, a fun-filled, family-friendly event created just for dogs and their people, all while benefiting local animal rescues.

Throughout the day, pups can play and show off their skills with dog races, an agility course, lure course, an all-dogs park, and a mobile dog gym. There will also be training talks, professional photo opportunities, pawdicures, a dog fashion show, and plenty of treats including a bone bar and pup cups 🐶✨

Looking to add a new furry family member? Lost Our Home will be on-site with some of our adoptable pups! Come say hi, ask any questions, and apply to adopt your new best friend (no on-site adoptions, but you can apply and visit us down the street!)

You can also enjoy vendors (pet and non-pet), prizes, giveaways, and a mobile bar hosted by 🐾
