Duke Farm FUN!!! This is the best way to describe Duke Petting Farm. The petting farm and pony party revenue sustains the farm so that we can continue our mission.

Pony parties, unicorns, petting farm, baby animals, horse back riding, kids camp, birthdays, social events, team building & so much more! Did you know that Duke Farm is a self-funded local Community farm running solely on volunteers and outreach programs? For seven years we have supported the community and our local Veterans and their families by opening our hearts and our farm. Some of the progra

ms we will offer in 2022 are:
• Community Volunteer opportunities
• A youth leadership and work to ride program for local teens.
• Children’s educational programs using ponies (Mini Mondays!)
• Leadership training using Equine Assisted Learning (EAL).
• We will continue to offer garden boxes for local veteran’s and families
• We are also one of two farms that provide the horses for the children’s Hippotherapy program offered by Mercy Health.
• Field trips: a complete educational farm experience in animal husbandry.
• Onsite birthday parties

Your community donations of $5 per guest to visit our petting farm allows us to feed and care for the animals as well as offering an affordable outing for families. We pride ourselves on being a local “therapy Farm” catering to the Community, our local Veterans, and their families. We will continue to provide workshops, children’s programs, Veteran and community dinners, garden spaces, open riding programs, and volunteer opportunities. Encourage when you can!

ISO hippotherapy horse for our program. They must be geldings or solid mares and on the shorter side around 14 to 15 hands. Must be able to tolerate two side walkers plus a leader (team of three) demonstrate that they can have someone walking on the offside. Must be able to stand still for the special needs kids to mount, no hot bloods. They must be mellow and able to stand still for 20 minutes or so! Located in Temperance, MI 48182 MUST BE SOUND. At Duke Petting Farm, our animals are very friendly and love to be fed and touched. Learn about chickens, hens, rabbits, goats, donkeys, alpacas and more. Imagine hands-on learning with our animals as your teachers. Children are able to ride a pony and hand lead some of the other animals. Don't forget your camera because our critters love getting their picture taken.

Have a community event coming up? Duke Petting Farm and Carriage Company in Temperance MI. wants to help you have extraordinary events in 2018! We come to you! Our over the top petting farm and pony rides will bring families to your event. Our goal is to add packages and events that will bring out the public, engage the children, and partner to enhance your main events. We are passionate about our commitment to detail and our over the top decorations. Duke Farm has both a large and small interactive mobile animal center that provides a FUN, relaxing environment to make your event an unforgettable experience for young and old alike. Some animals in the Large Barnyard Farm package include: Alpacas, cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, mules, goats, ducks, assorted chickens and bunnies. All themed to match your event!
