Bodhi, Betsy Bella, Sunny, and Jase are hard at work on the essential skills to become future therapy dogs.
In our latest sessions, these dedicated pups have been mastering:

โข Coming to their handler when called
โข Perfecting their sit and down stays
โข Being greeted and handled by strangers with ease.

Our dog walking class is making stridesโliterally! These Awesome Dawgs are learning how to walk nicely and stay right by their owners' sides.
Next up, Steve gave a fantastic demo of "Come to Place". After watching the pro, our dedicated dogs and their handlers got right to work, practicing this important skill together.

We're enjoying watching each duo grow and learn together.
Before hitting the trails, they're developing some important skills:
โข Dogs practice walking attentively alongside their handlers, responding to cues and enjoying a structured stroll.
โข Handlers gain confidence with "come to place". This essential skill helps keep dogs safe and responsive, no matter the distractions.
The goal of this class is to transform chaotic walks into pleasant strolls, with each dog responding beautifully to their owner. It's not just about walkingโit's about communication!
