Mars Petcare Recalls Bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Due To Potential Loose Metal Contamination

May 17, 2024 315 bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food 44lb Bag Size have been recalled due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the bag.

What was recalled?

The affected 44lb bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food have a Lot Code 410B2TXT02 and a Best By Date of March 4, 2025. You can find this information on the back of the bag near the base, next to the bar code.

No other Pedigree or Mars Petcare U.S. products are affected or are being recalled.

What to do?

If you’ve purchased this product with Lot Code 410B2TXT02 and a Best By Date of March 4, 2025, you’re requested to stop using it immediately.

If you have fed your dog some of the contaminated Pedigree dog food, Mars Petcare U.S. is advising you to monitor them for unusual behavior and contact a veterinarian in the event of any concerns.
