Pearl lived with us the last three years of her life and in her honor we have taken in other dogs that in some minds were less then desirable and have given them a new lease on life. Most of the dogs we take in at Pearl’s Place are;
Code Red on the last ours of their lives
Dogs with skin issues. Dogs

that have been in the shelter for long periods of time
Senior dogs that aren’t wanted
Dogs with broken bones that need orthopedic surgery
Hospice dogs needing a place to live their last days

In a perfect world we could save them all, but as we all know we don’t live in a perfect world. Please share Pearl’s Place far and wide, the more people that know our story the more dogs we can help. Ways to Donate

Will & Grace

This afternoon we had these two puppies out in the sun and grass.

Remember, these two puppies were found out fending for themselves. A single puppy was found sitting on the side of the road. She is safe. These two were found with another less fortunate pup. Then there were another two that were found and taken to the Bell County Shelter.

As we were sitting out playing with these puppies it came to me how resilient and innocent these babies are. They relied on their momma to take care of them. Then obviously some human took them all covered in fleas, hungry and scared and dropped along Stringtown road. All these babies could do was hope that someone had a heart to help them. Some laid in the ditch scared, while others wandered into the road looking for something or someone.

The puppies know nothing but to give love. They want to be loved, kissed and pet. They didn't ask for the hate, cruelty and neglect. What kind of person could just drop them off, not truly caring what happened to them.

Well, these two will be set up for success. They will not go with an empty belly. They have had their first vaccination, dewormed, microchipped and will be spay/neutered as soon as they are old enough.

Then it will be our responsibility to find them forever homes.

Spay/neuter has to become part of pet ownership!!!! These puppies didn't ask to be treated like trash. Where is their momma?

Let their healing continue..

With this collection of dogs, you would think we had a Shepherd rescue.

They are all amazing dogs and ready for their forever homes. Each has their own personality so please don't judge by only their looks.

We have a few meet and greet appointments still available for this week.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please reach out to us on messenger. To see a complete list of our dogs for adoption, please go to www.pearlsplaceusa.com.

Let's get all of our dogs out before the first of the year.

I love big dogs, I can not lie. Pecos was confiscated from his home and after a couple weeks we took him in. He is having a check up today and he will be up for adoption as soon as he has a clean bill of health.

Pecos

This boy, came to us the other day, he had been confiscated in a cruelty case.

This sweet boy is 89 #, thin and was left without food and water.

This morning, I dropped him off at the Vet to have his hips and legs checked. Pecos seems to be in some pain when he sits or tries to lay down.

I will keep everyone updated after is Doctor's appointment.

Let his healing begin.

Pearl's Place has roughly 22 amazing dogs up for adoption. Now the number changes from day to day.

We have different breeds, sizes, colors, energy levels and personalities. When wanting to come Meet one of our dogs it is so important to come with an open mind.

This year has been a tough one. We have taken in 190 dogs, year to date. The flip side of that is we have gotten out 195. While these are great numbers, we usually still have 50+ dogs here in our care.

Our Forever dogs are medical dogs, senior dogs or behavioral dogs that will stay here with us for their forever.

Along with the number of dogs we take care of, donations have been down, expenses have been up and forever homes are getting harder and harder to find.

What we are going to try to do for November and December, 2025 is to work on getting all of our adoptable dogs out. Try to raise some money and help a few dogs along the way. Most importantly, go into 2026 with a positive bank balance so we can hit the floor running.

What we need from all of you is to please help network our dogs. Share our posts, follow us and maybe set up a monthly donation through Zeffy, everything counts. They don't take a percentage of your donation. All donations are Tax deductible.

I know this is a lot to put out here in one post but the dogs need us to do all we can to help them and their are so many we can't help.

Thank you all for helping us help them.

Let the healing continue.

Sage

It is raining puppies around here.

Sage is a 6 month old, Bull Terrier. She is a feisty, chubby and a little stubborn girl that doesn't do well with livestock. Sage is very food driven and will need a family that has Bull Terrier experience.

She isn't ready to go yet but will be in a couple of weeks. Sage will need to be spayed and to have her eyes looked at. Bull Terriers can have very small eyes but hers seem a little more squinty than normal.

With our dogs that aren't ready yet, you are welcome to reach out to us on Messenger, put in an application. As always, we are looking for the best possible family.

Let her heaing begin.

Will and Grace

I’m really not sure if the cruelty will ever end.

These puppies were found in the middle of the road and almost run over. They were infested with fleas, extremely hungry and thirsty.

When they got here they went immediately into the tub. Dead fleas are the only good fleas. They then received their first vaccination, dewormed and food and water.

These two sweethearts were so so hungry. After all this they curled up together to rest.

Some how, some way this neglect has to end.

Rescues are tired and Shelters are euthanizing for space. Without a safe place, vaccinations and medical care these pups don’t stand a chance.
