FYI....there is a FAKE Performance Horse Sale page that looks like ours at Cal Poly but it isn't, so beware.
If you happen to see it don't click on it. It doesn't have it titled as Cal Poly Performance Horse Sale it just says Performance Horse Sale and has our pictures on it.

Los Altos Hunt Races, getting the last bit of instructions from Dave Wendler then headed for the start box for the steeplechase. Green and gold must have been in my cards, colors for the Santa Ynez Valley Hunt Club and Cal Poly.

I usually let my students do all the social media posts but today is an exception. The program has been blessed with some great horseman that have volunteered there time to come help my students, Ken Wold, Sandy Collier, Mike Lund and Paul Bonello, to name a few. Today the students were beyond excited, and I personally was so grateful to have the legendary Bobby Ingersoll come and help them with their sale colts! The class watchdog, Button, even left her post to hang out with him! An awesome, and humbling, experience indeed!

The count down has begun and the Cal Poly Equine center is a flurry of activity! It all starts tomorrow evening so come join us at our Meet and Greet and enjoy some wine, cheese and sausage, all produced here on campus and graciously donated.
The silent auction items are ready for the first bids, the colts washed and ready for viewing, and the demonstrations are set! We will even give you a glimpse into the new facility plans for the Oppenheimer Family Equine Center to be opened next year!

Mark your calendar, we will be hosting the first Mid State Western Combined Test on June 11, 2016. It will feature Western Dressage and a Natural Trail Class, the scores will be combined to find the best ride for the day. If time permits you can also enter just the individual classes. A show premium will be posted soon.
