Our main focus is rescuing and rehabilitating small dogs and puppies, most of which have been neglected, handicapped or abused. Once secured, they are all placed into foster homes where they are vetted, groomed, evaluated and re-homed. To date, we have rescued thousands of our furry friends and placed them into safe,

loving forever homes. We are a Non Funded/ Non Subsidized/All Volunteer 501(c)3, NO KILL, Animal Rescue. We focus on Saving Death Row, Abused, Discarded, Natural Disaster Victims, Neglected and Medically Needy Canines. The Pet Over Population has gotten SO FAR OUT OF HAND that Millions are put to sleep every year because of Human greed , Human indifference, Ignorance and Lack of Compassion. is a volunteer based organization consisting of dedicated volunteers who believe all animals deserve a chance. Whether the animal has been badly abused, neglected or just homeless we do whatever possible to make sure they are safe and placed into forever homes. Pet ResQ Inc, exists solely on donations and the use of foster homes. Without us euthanasia would be their destiny... We are their voice. “Help Us Help Them”
Pet ResQ Inc. is extremely proud to have been listed as one of the Top 5 rescues in Northern New Jersey. We have also been honored with the Onyx and Breezy's Heart Award, Pets and Heroes Award, The Russ Berrie Award in 2015 & 2017 and Robyn was awarded the Women of Achievement Award from NJ State Federation of Women's Clubs of GFWC in 2018.
​We have been a recipient of Rachel Ray's Murt Maddness Grant and we participate in Broadway Barks. PET RES Q TOO INC is a platinum-level Guidestar participant, demonstrating its commitment to transparency.

"I didn’t believe it at first, but it’s true—having a dog makes a difference," I said, watching the light catch on the old leash hanging by the door.

At first, it’s just a dog, you tell yourself. Just another thing to care for in a world that already demands too much. But then they work their way in. Little by little, they show you parts of yourself you didn’t even know existed. The softer parts. The patient parts. The parts that needed someone to just sit beside them without asking for a single thing in return.

You notice it most on the days when life feels too heavy. They’re there, waiting, looking at you like you’re still worth something even when you’re not so sure yourself. They remind you how to keep going, not with words or grand gestures, but just by being there—steady, present, and unshaken by whatever storm you’re caught in.

And that’s the difference. They don’t fix you, but they remind you that maybe you don’t need fixing. That maybe love, in its simplest form, is all you needed to feel human again. And it’s a kind of love you don’t forget. The kind that stays with you long after they’re gone..

Europe's inaugural monument dedicated to abandoned animals is this poignant Galician sculpture, which has gone viral for its powerful message. Erected in 2010 along the Moaña promenade in Galicia, the statue was championed by Lela Soage, a woman who devoted her life—and even her health—to providing a home for animals in need. The sculpture depicts a dog and a stray cat offering each other comfort, serving as a vital reminder of the importance of protecting abandoned animals. Abby is a 5-year-old Maltipoo (approximately) and a retired puppy mill mom. She weighs approximately 10 pounds and has a calm, chill demeanor. Abby loves to relax and cuddle by your side, making her the perfect companion for a cozy, quiet home. Follow Blossom & Bogey on their road to recovery. Their amazing foster mom got her healed enough to have surgery. She made it through with flying colors. No more babies or prolapsed organs again. Walter left his little paw prints on our hearts. He arrived with hair in eyes, super skinny, shy and didn’t know how to snuggle or walk on a leash. We loved him, we took him places, and held him after his surgery. We knew he would need an extra special family to continue working with him and letting him shine. Walter found just that…a family who saw his potential and saw how much love Walter had to give. 🐾🫶🏻 It was a very Merry Christmas for Walter 🏡
