Please welcome our two newest K9 teams:

Deputy Vandiver with K9 Manny on the left, and Deputy Braniff with K9 Asher on the right. With the addition of these teams, our K9 unit will reach 5 total teams (4 deputy handlers, 1 sergeant/lead handler) for near 24/7 coverage and callout ability. Both of these deputies worked extremely hard to prepare for these roles, which require significant commitment to our office and community.

They’ll each embark on hundreds of hours of training this winter with their new partners to become certified K9 handlers ready to track fleeing suspects.
