Life With Reef Founded in 2021, Life with Reef was inspired by our amazing rescue dog Reef! We are advocates & supporters of all rescue and shelter dogs. THE LWR RESCUE FUND!

heads face daily. We are also a family serving the Tequesta/Jupiter area for dog walking and educating on the proper handling of dogs. Life with Reef hopes to inspire the community to make a difference by helping dogs in need. Together, we can help so many of those dogs! Through our fundraisers & Your purchase from Life with Reef, we help support shelter dogs & rescue organizations with their life saving measures. We help these Organizations with transportation, adoptions, food and shelter, medical needs, blankets, toys, and whatever we can to help dogs in need. We are proud to be registered with the state of Florida as a charitable business! I created this fund to help dogs in need even more! With your donations we can help pay dogs medical bills, sponsor adoption fees, do freedom rides to get dogs from kill shelters to their rescues, visit dogs in the hospital and bring them warm blankets, toys and treats while smothering them with love, and more! Tis the season to adopt or foster a shelter pet. 🎄🐾
It’s the most wonderful time of the year… but not for everyone.

As we celebrate, we have to remember those who have nobody. 💔
I’m talking about the shelter and homeless animals who won’t have a comfy bed to curl up on 🛏️,
a warm caress from loving hands 🤲❤️,
a special holiday meal to fill their bellies 🍗,
or toys to make them smile 🎁.

Instead, many will spend 23 hours and 45 minutes a day in their kennels ⏳🐶, waiting… hoping… for someone to rescue them.

Fostering is free — all supplies are covered. 🙌
Adopting can complete a part of you that you never even realized needed completing. ✨💞

We know you have family festivities 🎅🎉,
We know you may be traveling ✈️,
We know you have cooking and chaos and holiday plans 🍽️🎄…

But here’s what I also know:
Once the shelter staff and volunteers leave at noon, the lights go off 💡⬇️…
the halls fall silent 🌑…
and loneliness fills the empty spaces.
With every passing second, some dogs’ hope fades just a little more. 🥹💔
And it’s truly heartbreaking.

Sometimes I wonder why we don’t put others before our own comfort — especially when doing so isn’t catastrophic, just inconvenient.
I would move mountains ⛰️ and miss holidays if it meant saving a life.
My world is often upside down, and I sacrifice so much…
but I wouldn’t change a thing, because my dogs give me joy every single day. 🐕❤️

Let’s have breakfast with my dogs! 🐾🍽️

Every morning, the pups and I start our day with a routine that keeps their bellies happy and their brains busy. We use puzzle flow feeders, which slow down their eating, support healthy digestion, and provide mental stimulation — a simple form of enrichment built right into breakfast time. It turns a meal into an activity, and they love it!

We also feed the dogs separately, and I can’t stress enough how important that is. Even if your dogs don’t fight over food, meal-time separation prevents accidental resource guarding, reduces stress, and allows each dog to eat at their own pace in peace. It’s one of the easiest ways to create a calm, positive routine around food.

For breakfast, they get their Fromm fish-based kibble, and we always add a few nutritious extras:
   •   Blueberries – Packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber that help support immune health and reduce inflammation.
   •   Bananas – A great source of potassium, vitamin B6, and natural energy. They also support muscle function and gut health.
   •   Apples – Full of vitamins A & C and fiber, helping digestion and contributing to a healthy coat (just no seeds!).
   •   Plain organic Greek yogurt – Provides probiotics for gut health, plus calcium and protein.
   •   A wet topper – Adds hydration, variety, and extra nutrients to keep the meal balanced and exciting.

Over 0ne year we have had Pablo in an amazing foster home. Not one application 🥺
We are upping his credentials and Pablo is going to school!
We have recently decided to expand our resources in helping pablo and other dogs in our program Last Chance Dog Project to increase their chances on finding their perfect forever home! 🏠
Pablo has been in our program partnered with for one year now thanks to amazing our amazing fosters!!
This dog seriously has my heart and the heart of everybody he meets, he deserves to be in a forever family, and that is exactly why we will never stop trying. By putting him in training, we are hoping to work on basically obedience as well as leash manners.. so far he’s a rockstar!
Pablo is one of two dogs We currently have in training. Operation homeward bound is about setting the dogs and their families up for success! We are super excited to hopefully partner up with trainers in multiple areas to achieve our goals in helping, save these dogs and putting them into loving homes that treat them like family members.
