heads face daily. We are also a family serving the Tequesta/Jupiter area for dog walking and educating on the proper handling of dogs. Life with Reef hopes to inspire the community to make a difference by helping dogs in need. Together, we can help so many of those dogs! Through our fundraisers & Your purchase from Life with Reef, we help support shelter dogs & rescue organizations with their life saving measures. We help these Organizations with transportation, adoptions, food and shelter, medical needs, blankets, toys, and whatever we can to help dogs in need. We are proud to be registered with the state of Florida as a charitable business! I created this fund to help dogs in need even more! With your donations we can help pay dogs medical bills, sponsor adoption fees, do freedom rides to get dogs from kill shelters to their rescues, visit dogs in the hospital and bring them warm blankets, toys and treats while smothering them with love, and more! Milo was on death row at but bc people believed in him and cared enough he made it out ❤️ We will be sponsoring some training classes at to help set him up for success! Beauty is everywhere. One of my intentions for 2026 is to be more present to be less held hostage by technology, not consumed by social media, unbothered by people that don’t matter to me, absorbing more of nature and the beauty that I’ve been blessed to live amongst. To surround myself with a non-toxic, like-minded people. To fight even harder for dogs that have no one. To help grow stronger bonds with pet parents and their dogs as a Gen X chic Im yearning and needingto get back to basics. It’s not about quantity, It’s about quality in everything we have, say and do.

🚨 Fireworks are starting — please prepare your dogs 🚨

While fireworks may be fun for us, they are terrifying for many dogs and animals. The noise, vibrations, and unpredictability can cause extreme fear and panic. It’s incredibly hard on them, and they rely on us to help them feel safe.

What you can do today to prepare:
• Talk to your vet about medication if needed
• Pick up calming aids like CBD (pet-safe only)
• Create a safe, quiet space — a crate, closet, or cozy corner
• Add comfy bedding and play calming music (classical works great 🎶)

Important safety reminders:
❌ Do NOT walk your dogs at night unless they are fully secured
❌ Do NOT leave dogs outside unleashed — even fenced yards are not safe
Dogs can jump fences, dig under them, and bolt in panic

✔️ Keep dogs contained, supervised, and leashed at all times

Every year after fireworks, shelters are overwhelmed. Hundreds of dogs go missing, are injured, or killed — and it’s preventable.
Your dogs do not need to be at the fireworks. They need to be home, safe, and comforted.

Personally, I go out during the day with friends, and we’re all home at night to care for and comfort our dogs. That may not be what everyone chooses — but please remember:
They need us to help them through what they’re experiencing.
