This morning Dr. Rowley got a call from a friend with a missing 💎diamond💎 earring. She searched high and low and the only place left to look was in the dog. 🐶 We went on a treasure hunt and sure enough, the diamond was in her stomach!
It was a race against time to try and get her to vomit the diamond before it passed from the stomach, and thankfully we got it out! Mom got her diamond back and gets to enjoy her weekend not looking through 💩

Does your dog struggle with Anxiety during Fireworks? Here are Dr. Rowley’s top tips to keep your pet safe and calm!!
1. Find a safe and comfortable place in your house. Turn up the TV or some music to drown out the sound. Make sure to take them out for a long walk to tire them out before dark.
2. Give a natural calming supplement. I recommend to start a week before the expected event. My favorites are Composure, Solliquin, Zesty Paws, and ThunderWunders
3. Order a Thundershirt! They really do work!
4. Give your pet their favorite treats to distract them. Our favorites are Kongs filled with peanut butter (they last even longer if they are frozen!), CET chews, and puzzle toys
5. Say YES to drugs!! Trazodone (+/- Gabapentin depending on the severity) are very safe and effective medications for situational anxiety.
