Thank you everyone for your patience and support over the past few months!

It took a little while to figure out why I was not feeling well, but I was eventually diagnosed with Lyme disease and successfully treated. 🎉

I was sad to miss the end of summer at the market and seeing everyone! This year I will not be at the winter market but I look forward to seeing you’ll again in late spring! 🌱

In the meantime… on Sunday 10/27 Baesler’s will have a fresh supply of Super Salad and Spicy Mix.

Also, our microgreens are used at petty_pit_stop_terre_haute, Petty Pit Stop- Sullivan, Brazil KitchFix and Oy Vey Jewish Bakery & Deli.

Hey there! I'm Oakley, owner of Haute Grown. You may have recently seen me on Good Day Live or at the Terre Haute Farmer's Market. For anyone new here, let me introduce myself!

I'm a parent, a farmer, a full-time administrative assistant and I grow Terre Haute's favorite (and most extensive selection of) microgreens, and more! This adventure started about 3 years ago when I decided I wanted to find a way to grow vegetables to supplement my income, rather than as just a fun hobby.

With the gray cold winters here, I wasn't sure how I could do this year-round.... until I discovered microgreens! Luckily, I had a large unused garage space which became the dedicated grow room for Haute Grown microgreens. So having never tasted, or even seen a microgreen before, I jumped in and started growing. It was terrifying but also incredibly fun. It's amazing seeing little veggies shoot up in just a few days and turn into adorable little superfoods! It turned out I even liked them!

The past few years of urban farming have been challenging and a huge exercise in discipline. But also, I love it! Being connected to the community as a produce producer is so rewarding.

As we adjust to the beginning of the new school year Haute Grown will not be at the Terre Haute Farmer’s Market on 8/17 or 8/24.

You can still find our microgreens for purchase at the Brazil IN Farmers Market and . 🎉

You can also enjoy our microgreens in the food prepared at KitchFix, , , and Oy Vey Jewish Bakery & Deli, so be sure to swing by and grab something delicious for these great local eateries! 🥪🥙
