TVC is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals that love animals! Pay is based on experience and will be determined at time of job offer. Experience preferred but not required. Must be available to work Mon-Sat 40hours a week

Job requirements...... But not limited to……..

• Ensuring treatment areas, examination rooms, hospital areas, cages, and laboratories are clean and organized.
• Prepare prescriptions as ordered by the doctor: Appropriate container, labeling, directions, and warnings.
• Sterilizing equipment.
• Restraining irritable, angry patients appropriately and safely where required.
• Computer Operation
• Assisting with administering medication and drawing blood
• Helping clients with their pets while in the waiting room and cleaning up after pets if accidents occur
• Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states.
• Assist with appointments daily
• Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled animals.
• Performing diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests.
• Liaising with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Complying with hospital standards, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Maintaining medical records.

TVC is looking for an experienced technician to work in our surgery unit. Pay is based on experience and will be determined at time time of job offer. Must be available to work Mon-Sat 40hours a week

Job requirements......

• Restrain animals for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare prescriptions as ordered by the doctor: Appropriate container, labeling, directions, and warnings.
• Administer medications (oral, injectable, topical, etc.) as prescribed by the doctor.
• Perform medical treatments.
• Perform venipuncture.
• Perform laboratory procedures and prepare specimens being sent to outside laboratories.
• Set up and maintain instruments and equipment needed for surgical and anesthetic procedures.
• Prepare patient for surgery: Place IV catheter, induce anesthesia, intubate, clip, clean, and scrub.
• Monitor anesthesia, patients recovering post-operatively, and vital signs including temperature and pulse.
• Perform radiography.
• Perform suture and staple removal.
• Clean, wrap and sterilize surgical packs, gowns, and drapes.
• Provide basic care: feeding, nail trims, expression of a**l sacs
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
• Perform inventory of surgical area.
• Assist with appointments daily

We are looking for reliable, hard working individuals that love animals! Responsibilities include but not limited to, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, computer operation, financial transactions, and reception area maintenance.
As the receptionist you will also need to be able to interact with the animals that come into the clinic. This includes getting weights, helping clients with their pets while in the waiting room and cleaning up after pets if accidents occur.
Must be available to work Mon-Saturday. A minimum of 40hrs per week. Pay is based on experience minimum pay is $12 an hour. Previous veterinary experience is a plus but not required.
Please come into clinic to fill out an application Mon-Fri 8am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. Saturday's from 8am-11am.

Heartworms are really this scary!! Protect your pets from these real monsters by keeping them on preventive every month or the 6 or 12 month injection for dogs. And have a Happy Halloween! P.S.
