Oak View Equestrian is a hunter/jumper barn located outside of Rockwall. We offer lessons, training & boarding to riders of all ages and skill levels.

FIONA (5385538)

Looking for a short term (6 month) lease for Fiona while her rider recovers from a fall (not off her).

Fiona is a 16.1 , 14 year old , huge bodied , warmblood mare. She is a great meter and under teacher type. Auto lead change , knows all the fancy flat work, no peak or spook, and easy to get to the ring. She has taught handy riders the ropes of the jumper ring. Fiona is a large horse and a forward ride , so not for a beginner. She is not marish, low maintenance, loves turn out.

Would be a great horse to finish out the show season with.

Located outside of Rockwall, Tx. Hour east of Dallas.

Fun first day of Advance camp!
Kathy Davidson started us off with an adult group at 7 am, followed by two student lessons. Then she explained the bones of the horse’s legs. Next was swimming the ponies followed by Adrian Sutton and bodywork!! Fun, full morning.

Wow! What a weekend we had at Texas Rose NTHJC-North Texas Hunter Jumper Club SHOW.

🌟Grace And Bowie won both rounds of the Hunter derby and were champion of 2.9 Hunter & Eq
🌟Harper and Teddy won 2.3 & 2.6 medal classes, champion of 2.6 Eq , 3rd in the pony derby
🌟 Taylor and Sancho champion of walk/trot poles and reserve champion crossrails
🌟Nicole and Jac reserve champion 2.6 hunters and Eq , 3rd in the hunter derby
🌟Amy and Firefly reserve champion walk trot poles and champion crossrails
🌟 Angela and Leo champion Pregreen, 10th in the derby
🌟 Katie and Fiona won a schooling jumper round and 2nd in the classic
🌟Grace and Bear champion puddle jumpers
🌟Rachel and Henry had wonderful rounds in 2.6 and Henry was 6th in the hunter derby
🌟Kymber and Brett had wonderful rounds in 2ft and had a fun weekend on a different pony
🌟Stella and Star got nice ribbons in competitive flat classes in 2ft
🌟Tessa and Duncan ribboned in their large 2ft classes
🌟 Maddison came back from college and piloted Frankie around the jumper ring
🌟Harley went to his second show and received a 3rd over fences

Anneliese and Duncan won a future jumper class plus ribboned in the others.

Grace and Bear were champion of puddle jumpers

Angela and Mojo got back in the jumper arena and ribboned in the schooling jumpers classes.
