Well, we haven't posted about the progress of our Pond Expansion/Improvement Project in some time now, but after just 2 rains and a water main break this weekend, we are well on our way to filling up our Pond again!!! And it's totally Zora approved!!! 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Thanks City of Terrell!!!

The Hummingbird Birds are taking the RockinB88 Ranch by storm. This must be their time of migration. We have NEVER had this many at one time! They're impossible to count as they are so fast, zooming from the trees to our two Hummingbird Feeders and back, but we would guess there to be at least 20 or more there at any given time. So beautiful to watch!!!

Okay, so since I just returned yesterday from my trip to the Philippines 🇵🇭, I am like seriously LATE posting the announcement of the birth of #4's calf, which was actually born on September 1st. The RockinB88 Ranch has been blessed with yet another fine Heifer Calf! Thank you Lord for all your many blessings upon us!!! ❤️ 😃 Also, special thanks goes to Bull-Shift by Windy G Ranch for renting us his Bull. We appreciate your assistance in helping us increase our herd!!!

Well, after one whole year of waiting for our Pond to FINALLY dry up, we have begun our Pond Expansion Project!!! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU goes out to Bro. James Webb for his mad excavation skills in helping us dig the RockinB88 Ranch Pond a little bigger and a whole lot deeper!!! We also want to give credit where credit is due to our Son In-Law, Vincent Charles, for capturing all the aerial shots of our property with his drone skills!!! You ROCK Vince!!! 😃 Stay tuned because many more Pond Improvements are coming, including a Dock/Pier and a Duck Island for our Welsh Harlequin Ducks.

The RockinB88 Ranch now has a Pet Yellow Crested Night Heron! At least that's what Google Lens says it is. This is the 3rd evening in a row that it has landed in our yard and it apparently stays here all night and hunts for bugs. It flies off in the morning when we let Zora out to potty. Pretty cool!!! 😎

Well, is anyone else way behind the 8-Ball on planting their garden this Spring like we are? We've been totally sidetracked with our Master Bedroom Remodel these past few weeks! But, today we got a really good start on it! We planted 6 Rows (144 seeds) of Sweet Corn, 3 types of Tomatoes, Yard Long Beans, Sweet Red Peppers 🌶, Jalapeños, Basil and Mint, not to mention some Lavender and some Mexican Heather just to spruce up the Garden area. More to come, as we still need to plant our Cucumbers, Summer Squash, Zucchini, Radishes, Lettuce, Pumpkins and Watermelon. 🍉😋 Oh, did I mention we bought a Jonathan Apple Tree and a Peach Tree today from Brumley Farms Garden Center & Plant Nursery in Wills Point? We highly recommend you check them out!
