Two female kittens around 10 weeks or 12 weeks old looking for a fur-ever home! Both have had their first DRTC and dewormings.

We hope every one had a nice Christmas. We’re in the final stretch of this holiday season! Whew. Always such a busy time.

We will be here normal hours today and tomorrow but will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

If there are any pups and kitties out there that need sedatives for fireworks, just give us a call!

Merry week before Christmas! We will be working regular hours this entire week, including next Saturday. We will, of course, be closed on Monday 12/25 in honor of Christmas but right back to it on Tuesday, regular hours.

Throw Back Thursday- me playing veterinarian while wearing a dress that my grandma or mom made. Obviously I’ve since figured out how to work a stethoscope more effectively and I toned down my work attire, but I’m still probably much like that young animal lover. ❤️🐶🐱🐰❤️

Two unrelated announcements- 1) we are now carrying Nexgard Plus which is a combo flea and heartworm pill. For those of you using Nexgard AND Heartgard, this is a cheaper option than buying 6 months of a separate flea and heartworm medication. Pretty exciting!

And 2) We are voting on names for this little creamy white, blue eyed beauty.
So far, we have Lily, Melody, Magnolia (Maggie), Snowdrop, Ivy, Catalina. She is part of a neighborhood cat population that is being gradually trapped, fixed, and released back. This one is pretty friendly, although I’m not sure how much of that will change once her sedation wears off! 😂❤️🐱

Calling all Good Samaritans!

Recently we took on this little gal as an owner surrender. I highly suspected she has what’s called a Portosystemic Liver Shunt which is a deadly condition unless surgery is performed to correct the shunt and allow her liver to have a normal blood supply. Luckily we were able to get her healthy enough to move on to a rescue group who will be pursuing the speciality surgery that she desperately needs. Yay!

We would like to start a special “Good Samaritan Fund” for animals like this gal so that we can do this for future patients that can’t be cared for at home but have a chance in rescue. If interested in contributing to our little friend’s or others care, please give us a call. ❤️❤️

These three male, black Labrador puppies are still looking for homes! Mom is a black British, dad is a red British lab. They are up to date on vaccines for their age, dewormed and on heartworm prevention! If interested, we can forward your info to the owner. They truly are precious.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up! We are having difficulties with communication from multiple online sites (Chewy, etc) and we assure you that we aren’t declining refills on medications unless it is an inappropriate size or your pet needs an exam prior. And in the event we decline any medication, we call to let you know why! If you are having difficulties, have the company call us for verbal approval. This is a problem on their end not ours.

It’s national Hug Your Cat Day. Delilah doesn’t observe this holiday. I’m pretty sure she’s very much against it. But for those of you that have a snuggly kitty, todays your kind of day!

When National Hug Your Cat Day rolls around each year on June 4th, the purr-fect opportunity presents itself for some snuggle time.

We are looking to revamp our gently used towel supply. We use them for everything from bedding to bathing to cleaning so we go through them rather quickly. Bath, hand, face towel donations would be greatly appreciated! 🐶🐱🛁🧽🪣

Part-time positions starts at $12/hour. Saturdays and Sundays hours plus some week day shifts available.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation. No experience required but must be comfortable working with large dogs and cat patients!
