Had a good show at the Connecticut Poultry Association Show today! We had a Champion Waterfowl on a black East indie, reserve champion waterfowl on a Cayuga. Champion/Reserve Light duck both on Runners. Reserve AOCCL on a Dark Cornish.

Just had the Department of Agriculture for our quarterly NPIP testing and inspection out on Wednesday! This quarterly testing had all the birds tested, all of our birds tested negative!

Our Policy for 2023
Hatching eggs: we don't guarantee a successful hatch, and no refunds will be offered. We are happy to work with you if you do end up having a not so good hatch. Eggs are tested weekly to ensure the fertility stays over 90%

Ducklings: we do offer a refund if you bought a female, and it ended up being a male. For shipped orders you have to show proof of it, and $10 will be refunded. For local orders we can Exhange the male out for a female ONLY if the male gets returned back to us. If you dont want to return the male, then we can refund you $10.

No refunds will be offered for dead. The birds left us at 100% health and we have no control what you do after the bird has left us

Shipping cost estimates
juvenilles: shipping has usually been costing $70-$85. there will be a $10 box fee added.
Ducklings: Shipping cost + $22 box fee, heat pad, grogel, and shipping bedding. Ducklings will be shipped at a week old.

I’m really surprised I need to make a post about this.

1. We are not a farm where you dump your roosters.
Being part of NPIP program we take extreme our bio-security to the next level to ensure we keep our birds heathly and to make sure we provide healthy birds to our lovely customers. When we have birds dumped here at the farm we take them to the auction.

2. We are a appointment only farm. You have to make a appointment to pick up birds.
We have a plan bio-security that allows customers to pick up, if you show up unannounced you will not be allowed to buy birds. Most of the time we don’t even have birds to randomly sell.

I am no longer taking any orders for hatching eggs for this year, this week was my last. Most of our hens are sitting on a clutch of eggs. Having multiple shows coming up within the next few weeks I am moving a lot of birds into conditioning pens for shows, and also I will no longer have time to be selling eggs when I have travel all around New England states to go to shows almost every weekend. I am currently only hatching for myself and a ducklings orders that have been placed months ago.
I am extremely grateful for everyone that has purchased from us this year! It has been a great hatching season so far! 😊
