Did you know that recent studies show cats can be affected by avian influenza (H5N1)? While the risk of transmission to pets remains low, it’s crucial to stay informed and protect our furry friends. 🐱

The AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) offers detailed guidance on how to minimize risks, including:
🔹 Keeping cats indoors, especially in areas with avian flu outbreaks.
🔹 Avoiding contact with sick or dead birds.
🔹 Knowing the signs of illness in cats, such as lethargy, difficulty breathing, or sudden health changes.
