Over all standings are posted. We’ve got some tight races. You must attend 5 of the 7 to qualify for prizes. We have this Friday July 21st and a double Playday on August 4th. The double Playday will be double entry fee and double points. It will serve as a make up day for the rain-outs we’ve had this year.

After calling to several members, we are having the Playday this Friday evening. We may move a little slower due to the heat. Our arena has blessed us with some nice shade. Last week it even cooled down with a storm that didn’t come. We encourage all riders to pay close attention to their horse’s needs as we ride. Barrel Exhibitions will go from 6:45 to 7:15 with a limited number of runs. We’ll only do the events that have points: barrels, key hole, & poles.

These are the speed fun events tonight. The Flying W is the speed event that will go for points for the overall buckle. The relay race will be a side pot. Teams will be set at the sign up table.

Please share this post. We're hoping the weather works in our favor and we'll be back to Playdays this Friday. It's not too late to join up and qualify for prizes. Due to the rain we have only had one playday. We had two fun events last playday. The first one was one barrel speed. The second one was Buddy Barrel Pickup. Those who did the buddy barrel paid in $5 and the winner took the pot. I'll post the fun events later in the week, so check back here.

Work day is still on for today! Saturday April 1st. Let’s fix fence, w**d eat, haul off logs, dig ditches, trim trees, rake, clean grill, fuel up tractor. Yip. Plenty to do. We’ll have new keys for new memberships for the year. See ya soon.

Clean up day at the Arena will be April 1st. starting at 9 am. Its been a long time since we scheduled a work day. We need to trim back trees and branches going into the arena, mow, rake and clean up after the electric company cleared out all the trees on the west side. We have fence repairing that needs to be done. If everyone helps it will go quickly. Come and help out and leave when needed. Every bit helps.
