👉🏼Did you know vet medicine has one of the leading Su***de rates.👈🏼
Every time a person in vet medicine smiles at you , they are smiling past the loss of a pet that they only new for a few moments but felt every ounce of the family’s pain as it took it’s last breath. Every time a person in vet medicine tells you they’ve had a long day, that’s their way of saying. They’ve been cussed out , felt like a failure to their team, felt like they didn’t do enough for every single pet they saw that day even tho they did everything medically possible. They’ve been scratched, bitten, mentally and physically drained/exhausted. Did they even eat that day? They balanced 6 clients at once to keep them happy just so another could tell them how much of an inconvenience they are as a clinic. Every time they have to apologize to you because your appointment is running a few minutes behind , they truely are 100% sorry. They could have just had everyone on staff trying to save the life of a pet, every one available were grasping every ounce of hope provided to them , and it still not have been enough. Maybe that’s not the case at all maybe they are running late to your appointment because the person in front of you had a brand new puppy or kitten and the staff just needed that little sweet innocent breath a few more minutes to help them remember why they love what they do. Maybe your veterinarian just worked a new puppy visit with a child and told them of all the wonderful years they had to come and now they are going into a room to help a family say their final good byes to their pet of many years. Maybe that same client has called 6 times for medicine and every time they are getting more short tempered because no one has called them back and every single time we promise we are going to call you back! But as soon as we hang up three more people show up , two more call. In between phone calls and appointments they are also checking in on all the hospitalized pets and keeping every one balanced the best they can. At the end of every day they take home all the good , bad , and ugly. Some days those are equal and some days you wanna close those doors and not look back. Did you know they do this all with a smile on their face so the CLIENTS are happy. Every time someone in vet medicine tells you sorry they are apologizing for so much more then what you can even begin to imagine.
Be KIND, there's a lot going on everyday. We absolutely try our best! We never want to see you lose your pet, or run behind on your schedule appointment time due to the 2-3 emergencies that we are working on at one time. ❤️🐾
