Ive been trying to find the words to say this since it happened yesterday. Im numb.
Please pay attention when you're driving. That's to everyone, but to the woman that took Dotti from me, just know you could've missed her. Yes she shouldn't have been in the street but she was coming back to me. Had you been paying attention you would have seen her leisure bowlegged walk. She didn't dart across, it could've been so easy to move over and miss her because she was so tiny.
Instead you skid her head along the pavement right under your tire. I'm traumatized by how she looked as she was taking her last few breaths in my arms.
Two years wasn't long enough for you, you deserved so much more.
Thank you for giving me four beautiful frenchie babies.
I love you Dippin' Dotti 🍦& I'm so sorry.💔

I don't know what my future as a French Bulldog momma/breeder holds, but I know this traumatized me..

Wrapped in this little blue towel I held the sweetest little "black trindle" girl for the very last time before I had to bury her.

This rocked me, I haven't eaten much, barely slept trying to keep this batch alive and I lost her. It hurts. Feeling this failure has humbled me in the breeding game, so much so that I may not continue if I cannot get past this.

There was nothing I could do that wasn't already done while I was trying to save this little girl. I did what I could. She was gone before I even realized she was struggling. What truly happened we will never know but I know that God has timing and a plan for all things.

After all it didn't happen to Me. It happened to her. I was just there caught in the middle.

I named her "Iris". I buried her beneath a bed of purple iris'.. They were one of my moms favorite flowers. She planted them all over our yard before she passed away..

So until we meet again 💜Iris💜
If you got to heaven yet, say hi to my momma & my daddy please. I know they'll take good care of you up there.
