*Important News!!* Our Saturday morning classes location and times have changed. We will now be having E-Collar/Advanced classes at the Texarkana Texas Farmers Market (weather permitting) on Saturdays from 9-10am. Puppy classes will still be held at our facility but the times have changed to 11am-12pm!

May is Nurse Appreciation Month, and while we definitely have tremendous love for our healthcare workers every day of the year, we were thrilled to be asked to help out with St. Michael’s first week featuring Self Care by providing dogs for therapy time. It has been proven that petting and getting affection from our furry friends can lower blood pressure, stress, anxiety, and so much more! So it was entirely our pleasure to provide some fur baby stress relief! We will be back this Thursday from 1-4pm to spread more love with our Chief Happiness Officers!

This weekend was awesome, thanks to Norm Riley and Jenn Riley!! We’re so glad to have a Barn Hunt Club closer to the Texarkana area! Many of our clients joined in on the hunt as well as some of our personal dogs, and they all did very well! Congratulations to Jack the Beagle from our Muttworks crew for getting the highest score in his class!! If you are interested in learning about Barn Hunt or some other fun activities to do with your dog(s), give us a call!

*Event/News* We will not be having classes this upcoming weekend, instead we will be going on a hike! We will be meeting up at 807 Angus Crossing, Atlanta, TX 75551 at 10AM. Please remember to bring proper hiking attire and water, as we will be hiking approximately 3-6 miles!

Muttworks crew had a blast teaching the kiddos about service dogs! It’s critical to teach them the importance of how to approach and behave around service dogs. We appreciate being able to come to all the schools, and show the kids how service dogs do their jobs to help out!

Classes on Saturday April 1st, we will be doing an *on leash* Easter egg hunt! There will be one for Puppy class and one for Advanced/Ecollar class. Times will be as normal. Eggs will contain treats and surprises!

**Contest** Spring break is upon us! We’re having a contest for our puppers on vacation, so now until mid April any of our followers can post their pups vacation photos in the comment section below, and everyone can like/vote on the best ones! There will be three winners, first place will get a hoodie, shirt, and hat. Second place will get a shirt and hat. Lastly third place will get the choice of a hat or shirt!

*Update* We’re excited to congratulate Scruffy for getting adopted by this lovely couple! Scruffy was apart of our Mutts Of The Month program partnered with the Animal Care and Adoption Center , and we’re very happy to see him back this morning for class with his new parents!!

** Event / News ** This Saturday (3-4-23) we will be going on a hike for E-Collar/Advanced class! Puppy class will held as normal at the MuttWorks Facility at 10am. This is the first hike of the year so we are super excited!! E-Collar/Advanced class will be meeting around 11:30 and starting around 12 at Jefferson Park. This will be a relatively flat trail.

Tried to beat the heat yesterday by having a pool day!
