🏡 Help Clover find a home!

Clover is a young, spunky, and energetic umbrella cockatoo looking for a home to land. Clover was surrendered to Foster Parrots after her guardian had a baby and was no longer able to give her the attention she needed. As a result, she began to pluck her feathers on her abdomen.

Clover will need someone that can work with her as she tends to become overstimulated easily and can bite once she hits her threshold. She enjoys a lot of attention and social support. Her adopter should be someone that is home often and can provide her with a high level of ongoing attention and out-of-cage time. Clover’s favorite activities are flying and shredding toys! She will need lots of activities to keep her busy.

🤍🧡 Both are settling in right now and we will get to know their personalities but so far they have been really nice birds, and from what the owners have told us they are very friendly and social. 😍

💛 "Frankie" here wishing you a happy Monday and welcome to a new fabulous week!!

This gorgeous and friendly male Lutino Cockatiel is 11 years old and is a fabulous whistler. The owner says he knows the Andy Griffith tune and will whistle other tunes and talk as well. He is used to a quiet home, so this is a little overwhelming for him being here, but he has been super friendly and easy to handle. Unfortunately, his wings were chopped up quite a bit, and he tries to fly and falls right to the ground. It is so extremely sad to see this and so stressful for the bird. We see this all the time, and it is just so sad and so dangerous for the Bird to not even be able to glide to the ground. Hopefully they will grow back in OK. 🙏

We are hoping to find the perfect situation for him where he will be enjoyed and cared for in the manner that he was used to. His owner took very good care of him, but had to give him up for medical reasons. If you are interested in coming to see beautiful Frankie, or any of the other birds, please send a message to make an appointment. We will also be having open visitation hours this Saturday between 11:00-2::00 and I have a ton of cages for sale as well.

☀️ Hello from these beauty. These three came in together, along with many other birds from a small rescue. She is moving and can no longer keep the birds. We have more arriving today. All of these birds are super friendly and social. They will make wonderful companions for anybody that is interested in giving them a good home.
1.) "Joker" - 6 yr. Old female White Bellied Caique, very friendly with people & other birds. Talks

2.) "Mochi" - Gorgeous Sun Conure, very quiet for a Sun Conure, lives in the same cage with joker, but I do not see them being overly bonded to each other, but will have to go to a home with other birds, as they are definitely used to having other birds around.

3.) "Kiwi" - Quaker Parrot, very sweet Quaker, chirp, like a Parakeet, very easy to handle great with other birds

** all three of these birds are fabulous companions. That will be a wonderful addition to any home. Please send me an email for more information if you are interested in any of these beauties. ☀️

Good With Kids: Yes. Fred and Kiss are cheerful and outgoing but require supervision when interacting with young children.

Good With Other Birds: Yes. Fred and Kiss get along well with others. As a bonded pair, they can be protective of their cage and each other, so they require supervision when out as part of a group. They would be happy in a home with or without additional small, gentle, or independent birds.

Well Socialized: Yes, both Fred and Kiss are confident and friendly, although Fred may take longer to warm up to new people. Kiss can be demanding about interacting and needs a family that will be understanding when she gets overstimulated. Fred prefers more hands-off hangouts, while Kiss is a cuddler. Both ladies enjoy seeing the world from your shoulder or the top of your head.

Other Pets: Fred and Kiss are small but fearless! They require a home without dogs, cats or other animals that may pose a risk to their safety.
Flighted: Both Fred and Kiss fly well and need a home that commits to keeping them flighted and providing a safe space to fly daily.

Diet: Fred and Kiss both eat a healthy variety of pellets, seeds, nuts and fresh foods. Fred likes fresh fruit best while Kiss prefers nuts and seeds. Both ladies love peanuts.

Fred and Kiss are a bonded pair who must be adopted together. They keep each other company and would do well in either an active or more relaxed household, as long as they are provided with plenty of time to exercise and explore out of their cage. Kiss has laid (non-fertile) eggs in the past, and although she has yet to have any interest in sitting on them, they do need a family who understands the commitment to keeping her happy and healthy if she lays eggs again

Introducing “Emma” 💚

So there’s cute & sweet & then there’s Emma CUTE & SWEET 💖

This absolutely adorable and amazing talker Hahns Macaw is about 15 years old. She hitched a ride with us today after we dropped off a horse for a friend and were heading back to the rescue. Unfortunately another case of the owner passing away and no family member able to take the bird in. Her cage was quite a mess so we put that in the back horse trailer and she rode in the truck with us. She talk to us the entire way and every time we left she laughed along with us. She will imitate you, she will get excited when she hears noise, she says so many words already and she stepped right up for me every time. We trimmed her nails & beak which were very long & she will get a nice bath tomorrow. I was told that her mommy loved her so very much and spent all of her time with her talking to her. So sad that she is now missing out on that. Of course we are thrilled to have her here, she’s sitting in my kitchen so she doesn’t feel lonely and she even had part of our dinner which she was begging for, LOL. I’m sure she was a very spoiled girl ❣️ As with all the new arrivals we will let them settle in, check them out see how they’re doing and then start taking visitors for them. For now of course we are happy she’s here and spending time with us and getting the attention I’m sure she had been missing. A big warm welcome to Miss Emma 👏
