This beautiful young gelding truly has it all; color, looks, and brains. Gen is easy to catch, stands tied, is good for the farrier, and stands for bathing, clipping, and tacking. He will drop his head on command to be bridled and is started and doing very well on parking out to be mounted. Gen is a top-pick gelding who has been started correctly and already has the trail miles of most older horses. He is calm and cool out on the trails and will ride along or in a group. While in a group, he remains calm whether he is in the front, middle, or the back. He rides calm and gentle with a nice flat walk, very smooth running walk, and a great canter. Gen has a lot of rhythm and headshake with a soft supple mouth. He will ride collected, break at the poll, and flex both directions. Out on the trails you can drop your reins and relax on this guy or kick him up into that nice running walk and cover some miles. He has also been started on some arena work. He will lope circles both directions while picking up his correct leads very easily, backs, and is started on side-passing! He is traffic safe, is used to being around the UTV’s and farm machinery, and has been used on the farm pushing and checking cattle. He has been ridden by men, women, and children and at only 3 he already has the mind to satisfy all three! He has been through desensitization with tarps, balls, balloons, flags; anything annoying you can think of. This is a handy young man who will make an amazing using horse, performance prospect or is pretty and classy enough to make everyone notice you on the trails; whatever avenue you choose, this boy will excel!
