It's dog bite prevention week!

We understand pets can feel uncomfortable at the vets, and by bringing us to you they usually feel safer...

HOWEVER, we still insist on honesty about your pets' behavior when scheduling appointments. We do our best to keep things as chilled as we can, but prior warning of previous problems or events help us be extra prepared and put measures in place to keep everyone safe.

🥳💥Happy belated vet tech appreciation week!! 💥🥳

We were in Facebook prison 👮‍♂️during the rest of the world's tech week, so we're having it late!

Many of you will have met our wonderful techs, Lauren and Trinity, over the past year.👩👩‍🦰

Lauren has been helping Dr Crellin from the start of MHV, and even before - in fact, they actually met years ago whilst Dr Crellin was a vet student seeing clinical practice, and Lauren taught her some of her awesome skills back then! Fast forward to today and she's still keeping her in check, with a friendly face, good sense of humor, and a truly wonderful way with our patients and clients. We'd be lost without her! 💙

A lot of you will have met Trinity with us too - mostly at our pop-up wellness clinics at TLC. She has spicy kitty handling skills that can "wow" any crazy cat lady, a calm and supportive bedside manner, and the ability to somehow get things tidied and written up in record time! 🩷

Let's face it - without these ladies things would be very difficult (and disorganized!). 🫠

So "cheers" 🥂 to a belated vet tech appreciation week! I'm so proud to have these ladies as colleagues and as friends. I'm sure you all appreciate the hard work they do for you and your pets too. 🐶🐱🩵💙💚

I cannot say enough kind things about the compassion she showed Sam and the support she provided us during the process. ALL parts of lillies are toxic to cats ☠️. They don't have to meaningfully "eat" the plant... sometimes just brushing against it then grooming themselves is enough to be fatal! 😪

How lucky am I to have a job like this?!

Last week we did a litter check and first vaccines for 11 gorgeous golden retriever puppies 💕 They were fantastic patients and very relaxed having all their checks done 🩺and shots administered 💉.
