Does your dog have good manners? Teach your dog to approach with a sit. Don’t acknowledge them unless they are in a seated position. Now I gotta teach Sophie this! 😂

Practice, practice, practice! Practice the stay command with your dog regularly in different settings. This teaches patience, to look at you for direction and look how happy she is running to me!

Pet Supplies Plus Dog Wash Review

Today I tried out Pet Supplies Plus’s Dog Wash and it’s normally $15 but it was free today! If you sign up for their emails you will be notified of special free dog wash days. The details: There are three available stalls, one is higher up for smaller dogs. They have a spray nozzle and you are able to adjust the temperature of the water, four different types of dog shampoo ( I used oatmeal and it smells so good), towels and a dryer. I loved being able to wash Sophie without having to bend down, my back definitely appreciated it. Cons: Probably because it’s such a cold and yucky day, I felt like they could use a heater nearby to keep the dogs warm since the store had its AC on and the dryer wasn’t warm enough other then those small complaints I loved it and would come back.
