Pepsi, from our Sip, Sip, Hooray! litter has found the perfect guardian home. This sweet girl is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and whimpers as she stands by the door to go outside to potty. This sweet hopeful will be a great addition to our breeding program once she’s older and passes all her health testing.

We have a toddler in the house! Little Miss Belle, our singleton, is three weeks old already – how quickly time passes! Her 👀 are fully opened now, vision is improving and her ears have started to open and she can definitely hear. Belle is becoming more aware of her surroundings, beginning to play, and starting to vocalize. This week have been many first for her. She’s sitting up, walking on all fours, and has been introduced to potty pads!
We are in love with this precious angel!

When deciding a theme for this litter, we wanted something that would work for Halloween (born 10/21) and Christmas (pups will go home mid December). Little Miss Belle is two weeks old today and her eyes are just beginning to open. 🎀

This week I have begun monitoring Belle’s milk intake. With a normal litter, we weigh each puppy daily to make sure each pup is gaining weight. With a singleton, weighing daily is also important but for a totally different reason. With plenty of milk available and no competition from littermates, if Belle gains too much weight it will be difficult for her to support her weight as she grows and may be delayed in walking. This week I’ve filled her whelping box full of obstacles, bolster puppy beds, stuffed animals, a blanket, and the rice sock buddies for her to crawl over as she moves around the whelping box. She is building muscles and getting stronger each day! 🐶
