Update - She came back home and waiting for her mommin the backyard all smiling and happy about her rainy, muddy adventure. 🤦‍♀️😂

One of my adopted dogs is lost.
Her mom is out looking for her.
Montfair and Woodlands Parkway area.
She lives on Montfair.
If you are in and around that area please keep your eyes open. She is a Pit Bull Mix. White and Latte color.
She is afraid of strangers. If you see her just call me at 832-277-3577.

One of our favorite piggy has passed away.
She made this world a much better place than she found it.
So many people are changed because of her.
If you wonder how one animal can change the world she is a shining example you shoukd look at.
RIP little princess Esther the Wonder Pig you will be missed.
We know now you will be spreading the sunshine at the rainbow Bridge.
Where pool is open all year and cabana boys bring little piggies all the cup cakes they want.
Run free little Esther. Run free.

Hello, everybody.

There’s no easy way to say this, but the day we all wished would never come has arrived. Esther has passed away. She was calm and peaceful, and fell asleep with her dad Steve by her side.

While we understand many of you will have questions, and we will have the answers for you , but we are going to take a little break to process the situation.

Even though Esther is no longer physically with us, her memory and legacy will live forever. Esther is immortal, and we will continue to show the world that all animals deserve to be loved just like she was.

Sending love and happy thoughts to each and every one of you. We know you all loved her just as much as we did, and we thank you for that.

A rescuer friend shared this and it make me break down and cry. Most rescuers get exposed to so much cruelty to animals everyday. We suppress our anger, our broken hearts because we can't give up and have to keep going for the ones under our care.
But poems like this hit us hard and all those suppressed emotions surface and bubble up in tears and making us feel heartbroken. Some days I am embarrassed to belong to human species because of our inhumanity and what we do to other species or even our own.
Please don't abandon your pets in parks, woods or side of the road thinking someone else will come along and rescue them or that they will somehow manage on their own. They will sit there and die waiting for you or get hit by a vehicle or someone may torture them or they will get attacked by other animals.
One of my professor who was my advisor for the animal rescue organization I founded in College told me that humans don't deserve animals. And animals should be put down by their owner when they don't want to take care of them because the pets don't deserve the suffering we put on them including broken hearts.
I was appalled. I have come to the point where I have started to get what he meant.
Shelters and full. Rescues are full. More and more people are dumping their pets. I don't understand how you can give up someone who loves you so much. -

"Woof!" I said as you started the car,
"Hooray!" I said, it's my first time afar.
The scents we were passing were all new to me,
For it was my first introduction to this mystery.
As we got out of the car I embraced you with joy,
After all you remembered to bring my favourite toy!
You threw it once or twice, of which I retrieved,
But on the third it seemed you were ready to leave.
You threw it long and hard and I chased it like lightning,
But when I turned to bring it back I saw a sight quite frightening.
I gripped my toy hard as I tried to comprehend
What it was I did wrong to make our relationship end.
You walked back to your car as I sat there still loyal.
Why am I subservient and you so royal?
Your engine started, and you peeled out into the night,
You didn't even care about my overwhelming fright.
As I sat in my pose determined you would come back,
The sun faded behind me while the surroundings turned black.
Day after day I stayed in that park,
Lying... waiting... too feeble to bark.
As I lay there dying thinking of you master,
I asked myself how I got into this horrifying disaster.
With my last breath of life, I whispered your name
Then I collapsed in a heap overrun by pain.
Why didn't you love me master? Why didn't you care?
Had I no significance, was I just a clump of hair?
I stayed there master and I waited for you
I guess taking care of me was just too much to do.
I'm gone now master, no more You-and-I
But what I can't figure out is why you didn't even say goodbye...

I love animals. All of them. Here is abull who was my friend in India.
When I returned back here. He broke into my mother's house throught he front door looking for me.
My mother was so mad at me.
All I coukd think of what my friend was thinking. Why did I leave him. Did he feel abandoned? Did he feel betrayed. Animals love unconditionally. They love completely. If you have not known and loved an animal. You have not experienced true love.

Y'all Acorn Manor Assisted Living Homes won the Best of The Woodlands in Elder Care.
To be honest we won it a few months back and I forgot about it until we got our plaques.
So we were nominated by out supporters and the community voted and y'all voted for us.
Thank You.
And that means Another Party! 🎉🍾🍸🍹
Just need to find a week when we don't have a party planned already. 🤣
You know give us a reason to party and we will party. 😂

I am not playing well with others today. I need a nap and a time out. 🤦‍♀️
Diamond had a rough night and I am cranky from lack of sleep.
Tried to snuggle with Sarah and she got up and went to one of the residents to snuggle with.
I guess she is telling me to adjust my attitude. 😕
I feel judged. 😆

The day world stood still.
The day everyone in this country forgot their differences and became American.
The day whole world empathized and lend its shoulder to cry.
The day humanity showed up.
Why we keep fighting and are so divided today.
People who sacrificed their lives that day did not care who they were running into save.
What will they think of us today when they look down at us from above?
Why does only tragedy brings us together?
Why can't we love and respect others who are not similar to us?
Why can't we just unite and do our thing and let others do their thing?
And just live happily ever after?

So many heroes. All of them are gone now. But they walked in the rubble and inhaled dust and toxic chemicals try to find and save humans.
Humans were not the only victims. Pets that were left alone at home that startled to death alone because their humans never came back.
Search and rescue dogs who gave their all to help save lives but failed because there were no survivors.

Heroes who lost rheir comrades, their friends, their colleagues.
And yet they kept going just in case there was someone alive buried in all that rubble.

I don't know why people hate self check outs.
I love them. No human interaction. No small talk or chit chat. It is faster for me to check out myself, no one is rolling their eyes and sighing loudly when something does not scan, no one messes my stuff by putting breakable items at the bottom and putting heavy items on top.

I am loving the new technology. For people like me who don't like people it is fantastic. 😂

Self driving Uber, Self checkout at grocery store, no runny nose teenagers at McDonalds, no attendant at gas station, (Yes, I get in my car and leave if pump says I need to go inside the store and see attendant. 😂).

I am so glad all the inventors and geniuses are introverts and understand need for people like me to not interact with other humans unless absolutely necessary. 😂

On the other hand if you have dogs or cats or horses or pgs or goats or lamas I don't care what yiu are selling I am coming in your store. 🤣🤣🤣

Another rescuer wrote this but this is as if she read my heart. -

I need to set the record straight on something. I am not a saint. I am not an angel. In fact, I am a very selfish person. The reason I take in these abused, neglected, unwanted dogs, in particular the seniors, is for my benefit. When you take in one of these animals that someone else considered just trash and see them smile for the first time, I cannot put into words what it does to you but, it changes you. If you have never taken in one of these animals, then you have no idea what I am talking about but I promise you, it does something to you. It changes your heart. It changes the way you view the world.
To see these animals smile, to see their eyes light up when you walk into a room, to see the way their head tilts to the side when they hear your voice, it changes you. To watch them let go of their horrible past and just enjoy the moment, it changes you. When you see them curl up in a comfy bed, possibly for the very first time, and sleep the deepest sleep they’ve had in a long time, it changes you. To see them excitedly dance around as you are preparing their food or getting out their treats, it changes you. To see their head no longer dip in fear when you reach down to pet them, it changes you. To watch them interact with other dogs and play, possibly for the first time, it changes you. To give them a toy and watch them as they discover the squeaker for the first time, it changes you. To watch them run in the yard, roll in the grass, play in the snow, or lay in the sunshine, it changes you. To have them lay on the sofa with their head in your lap as you stroke their back while a major thunderstorm is rolling through, it changes you. When it is below zero outside and you see them laying in a comfortable bed in the warmth inside your home, it changes you. To have to help them stand, carry them down the stairs and place them in the grass but then watch them as they struggle through the pain so that they can run and play, it changes you. To hold their head in your hands and stare into their eyes as they take their final breath, it changes you.
These dogs have given me more than I have ever given them. I am the one who is blessed. I am the one who was fortunate enough to be able to spend their final time with them. I am the one who will be eternally thankful that our paths crossed. Every single one of these dogs has a piece of my heart and has changed my soul. As long as there is breath in my body, they will not be forgotten for they have changed me.

- First of all I am old and need that dogwash area to be high so I don't have to bend.
- Second of all I have 40 dogs.
Where are the other 39 going to sleep and eat?
- Third of all my dogs are not Domestic labor to be banished into a laundry room. They own my home, my companies and they own me. Most probably I will end up here so you better put a king-size bed so they can all come in and sleep with me after they banish me here. 😂

Found another dog. Please let me know if yours. No collars or tags. Very sweet. Likes to ride in tje car and look out from the windows. Loves his blankie. Picky eater. He snubbed the dog food but enjoyed the baked chicken.
Severe skin condition though. Poor guys skin is as rough as alligator.
No bushy tail either and no hair. Will need some medical attention. But his skin condition is not bothering him much it seems.
Neck on the other hand looks quite swollen. May be a bee or spider bite. He did not like the ointment I tried to put on him.
If family not found I will be rehoming him with rehoming fee.
If he is yours please bring old pictures and be ready to tell us about any special markings. I want to make sure he goes back to his own loving family.

My clients and my friends like Shannon Hill, Brandi Alexander Clark, Amanda Kenworthy Van Dusen to name a few just tackle their family, friends and colleagues if they even mention real estate and send them to me so I can pay my vet bills. 😂😂😂

When you come to Acorn Manor Assisted Living Homes you become part of the family.
Even if you don't have a family we make sure you never feel alone. It was Ms R's birthday and we wanted to make sure she has as big if a party as anyone else here.
Well it was big. She ended up with 2 cakes. 😂
Caregivers wanted to make sure she had presents to open and not feel that her birthday was not complete. Most residents receive presents from their family and guardians. So even our caregivers bought her presents. And that was a biggest present I could have received. I did not know they planned it. They did not ask or tell me or mention it. I threw her a party and they brought the presents. That is why I love them so much. My caregivers have the biggest hearts. And they do this with love. Like me it is their calling. It is not just a job for them.
Happy Birthday Ms R. We will keep celebrating you the way you deserve.

Just a dog -
From time to time people tell me “chill out, it’s just a dog” or “it’s a lot of money just for a dog.” They don't understand the distance traveled, the time invested, or the costs incurred by "just a dog".
Some of my proudest moments have occurred with “just a dog.”
Many hours have passed being my only company "just a dog", but not for one moment did I feel despised. Some of my saddest moments have been because of “just a dog,” and on those gray days, the gentle touch of “just a Dog” gave me comfort and the reason to get through the day.
If you also think “it’s just a dog”, then you’ll probably understand phrases like “just a friend”, “just a sunrise” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person.
For "just a dog" I will get up early, take long walks and look forward to the future. So for me and people like me, it’s not “just a dog,” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the memories of the past, and the absolute joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out the good in me and takes my thoughts away from myself and daily worries.

I miss my babies so much.

I love under dogs.
I will always stand up for the voiceless.
I will always stand up for the mistreated.
I will always stand up for the misunderstood.
I will always take care of who needs me.
I love Pit Bulls.
One Pit Bull saved me. She changed my life and gave my life a purpose.
If one Pit Bull can light a spark of kindness and live imagine what thousands and thousands of Pit Bulls can do to change this world.

Found two mix breed puppies. One looks like Brown lab and other white lab. But over all seems like mix of St Bernard, Great Dane, Chiuaua, Minpin, German Sheppard, Lab, Sheep dog mix.
No collar, no id.
Would like to keep both of them together. Rehoming fee will apply. Home check will be required.
Both dogs have very pleasant personalities. Little bit of nipping here and there. Do not bark. Make funny noises though. Only problem is they refuse to eat dog food and eating my lawn and my flower beds. May have upset tummy. I knkw dogs eat grass when they have upset stomach.
Please let me know if you would like to adopt or foster.
Or help me find their family.
You can vist them in person. We are on Ocean front property in AZ. Right next to Golden gate bridge. Ask George Straight. 🤣
