Did you know that June is National camping month?🏕️🐾
If you take your pets camping with you please make sure you are taking precautions to both you and your pets safe
•Always keep you pet on a leash
•Make sure to bring food and water for your pet(there’s no telling what’s in a body of water so always bring your own)
•Respect the wild life
•Being life jackets for both you and your pets if your boating
•Keep camp fires and grilling contained
•Pay close attention to where you walk or hike (your pet may not be able to go down certain paths)
•Watch out for sharp objects. Sticks and rocks can cause injury but also make sure you keep your knives and skewers in a safe place.
•Get protective footwear for your pets if they are going to be on rocks or concrete. If not, it could potentially cause burns to their feet.

If you have any questions don’t ever be scared to ask!! Your pets will enjoy disconnecting and being out doors just as much as you do. Go enjoy the summer!!☀️🌴

We are so happy seeing a sweet pup get a new home!🥰 Polly was so scared coming in the other day and just working with her for a little bit she started to open up and show her sweet personality. She is one lucky pup to have someone take her in. Congratulations on your new fur baby Mr. Snowden!🫶

TVH would like to welcome Katie Byrd, fourth year veterinary student at Auburn!🧡She is here for her preceptor before graduation this May.🧑‍🎓
While she is here we are making sure to help her expand in anyway possible! Here, Dr. Myers is teaching her how to perform a cystoscopy of Stella the pug. We are very thankful for the opportunity to help new vets and vet students learn different procedures.🥰🐶

Another day, another endoscopy 🩺
Friday - we had a pup come in that ate 11 silicone cupcake liners and another eat a long sock! Thanks to Dr. Gilson and his team everything was retrieved successfully!
