Life is ‘ruff,’ but with you, every day is a treat♥️
Zane and I went through basic obedience training earlier this year. I am constantly trying to find situations to help him and I learn. This was his first time around a pool. We were quickly able to learn, he just wants to play with his sisters and swim.
This video was after he jumped in the pool, wouldn’t stop barking.
I do not let his sisters pet him everytime they pass when I’m actively working with him, that’s why you hear me say no. That’s to stop Zane from jumping but also to show that he doesn’t need everyone’s attention. A few times I gave corrections and he tried to look away.
**This is only a small clip of what went on at the pool, please know I am aware of things I could have handled differently. Zane is 6 months. I am learning just like he is. ***
Enrichment on this beautiful day .
Frozen sardines and bananas in water and chicken broth.
Try it and let me know what you think.
Zane still has his Friday face on but Bambi’s Monday face is in full force.
Leash walking with peanut butter.
whose training who here?
Zane does not like his leash, he pulls, barks and will drive me crazy.
We are training with Mariah at Morgan's Dog Training and learned a little trick last night with a metal spoon and peanut butter. This walk was alot better than yesterday, even if we froze.
What’s supposed to be happening is Zane licks the spoon as he walks to stay with Sav. When Zane jumps for the spoon, Sav is supposed to pull the spoon away till he stops. Then when he calms down, he gets the spoon again.
Today was our first time with this method. Zane is only 4 months, Sav has never worked with a puppy but I know they will make the best team♥️
