Carol is adjusting quickly to being indoors! We're learning a lot about her personality, like the fact that she doesn't like to be alone for long periods at a time, or that she prefers to sleep on top of her hiding box rather than inside it. She's also found her voice, and let's us know if she's tired of her food bowl being empty for too long or if she just wants attention.
There's a little more than a week left until her appointment, but until then she gets to get quite spoiled!
Glade is still looking for her furever home! She is such a loyal kitty and once she gets to know you she wants to be around you all the time. Her foster is unable to keep her any longer due to a personal living situation that popped up, so time is of the essence! We need someone to adopt (or foster) her before she has to be taken to the shelter. Is there anyone who wants to help?!
If anyone needed a seratonin boost before bed, here's a pregnant kitty getting a belly rub 😻
🐈⬛🐈⬛ Glade update!! 🐈⬛🐈⬛
We sent of some labwork on her last Monday and overall everything came back great! We did find that she was mildly anemic so we've started her on antibiotics and we will recheck everything in another two weeks or so.
She has now gained access to freely roam throughout the room. We leave her cage doors open and she can go in and out as she pleases. We've decided to leave the cage in there for her for another couple of weeks because it's her safe space she goes to if anything spooks her, and we don't want to change too much too fast.
She's doing so well! I am so happy with how quickly she came to adore my husband and I. We look forward to the day when we can make the post saying she's ready to be adopted. Until then...we will continue to love and spoil her, and show her the love and affection she missed out on in the first years of her life ❤️
