My name is Megan, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Please don’t take offense, but I prefer animals over humans lol! In 2018, I moved to Roanoke, VA and started a rescue & an “in-your-home” pet sitting service. This was never planned, but I quickly saw the need for these services when I started sitting for a neighbors dog. With only word of mouth, I had neighbo

r after neighbor asking me to watch their pets! People were eager to travel, but no one wanted to send their fur babies to boarding facilities where they wouldn’t get the amount of love, comfort, and attention as they would in the comforts of their own homes. That’s when I started, “Pup-cation!” It’s like a vacation for them while their parents are on their own! Where not only will your pets be at ease, but also all owners can carry peace of mind….so we all can, “wag more, worry less!”

We had 5 star ⭐️ ratings and a super fast growing clientele. After, 4 years of so much love and support from the communities, I unfortunately got diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease. It took such a toll on my body that I had to close down. Since then, I’ve found wonderful doctors and have stayed on a consistent treatment plan. This has finally allowed me to get back to doing what I love. Better than ever and ready to spoil and spread love to all the fur-babies again!

I write this with such a heavy heart. We just heard of the passing of our sweet girl, Bianca. She was the queen “B,” and has been part of our Pup-cation pack for years! We will FUR-ever be grateful for the opportunity to be part of her little, 4-legged life. She was so full of joy and so comical! She loved to bury herself in mounds of blankets! So, if you couldn’t find her, all you needed to do was look under a blanket ☺️. She hated the rain, but loved our walks in the park (as long as it wasn’t raining lol). I was not only her pup-nanny, but I was proud to also be her snack dealer and giver of all the pets! Saying goodbye to any pet is harder than words can say because they are so much more than that. They become family.

Bianca, your wagging tail and happy barks will fur-ever echo in our hearts. We will cherish every memory we had the privilege of knowing you. I hope you’re running free and chasing all the treats! Our hearts go out to her family. We love you sweet girl! 💔😔
