Why do sometimes people choose to become silent?

Silence can hold many emotions- anger, fear, sorrow and often deep pain. When pain is withheld, it not only harms the person but also affects their relationships.

Sometimes we are with those people who do not really understand us. They find faults in everything we say or do. When we try to communicate, we are ignored. We feel we have no way out but to stay silent and bear the pain. The pain makes our hearts so heavy that one day we break, and that let out only complicates things more.

Try to support if you see someone in pain. Give them your shoulder to lean on, listen and let them open their heart, reassure them and help them regain their strength. Sometimes all they need is a loving heart to help heal their wound.
