NOW’s the time to start prepping your dog for the fireworks early! You can help them get used to the sounds gradually by playing recordings of fireworks at a low volume and gradually increasing it. Also, creating a safe space for them to retreat to during the fireworks can help them feel secure. It's all about making sure they feel comfortable and safe during the celebrations! 🐶🎆

So many are confused about this. They see training as something which limits and subtracts from the dog’s life/fun/freedom.

It’s actually the reverse.
Proper training gives the dog a bigger life, more fun, and far more freedom.

The only things it limits and subtracts are the problem behaviors and the anxious/stressed state of mind which are preventing you and your dog from living the best life possible.

As Jocko says, “Discipline equals freedom.”, and I promise this concept applies just as much to your dog as it does to you. ❤️
