Second year in a row I have this sweet little old girl to see during my birthday week. It’s absolutely a tradition I can get behind. She may only have 3 legs, but miss Piper still has a lot of s***k 😊 That is when she isn’t sleeping 🤣 Girl after my own heart ❤️

Spent this last weekend with Blaze, Rosco (aka the Gremlin 😆), Daisy, Gracie, and Co***ne. Neither cat is usually very affectionate with me, but Co***ne was very lovey this weekend. Made my whole dang day that he let me pet him so much and purred 🥰 Moments like that are why I love what I do ❤️

Had a great weekend sitting for miss Piper until Saturday night, then Maddox, Skywalker, Avila, Marcola, and Camacho Saturday to Sunday. The puppies have gotten so big since I started with them last April 🫢But they’re just as cuddly as ever 🥰

Had a great time this past weekend with these crazy dogs. The boys all being on me at once for the first time and not kicking each other off was one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen 😊 Tamar had to join the love fest too, and let me pet her for a good 5 minutes straight (which she never does, usually 30 seconds to a minute is her max). It was a great weekend before the holidays 🥰

Had a great time this week with some new clients! Meet Millie, Lily, Chloe, and Molly! They were so sweet, even if Millie yapped at everything LOL 😆 She can’t help it though, being only like 3lbs. Gotta be heard somehow. Can’t wait to see them again! 😊

The past 10 days have been so fun 😊 I’ve had miss Piper since last week, and then I started with Flip last Monday. Then this weekend I had the pleasure of staying with Blaze (big tan Pittie), Roscoe (White Frenchie), Daisy (English Bulldog), Gracie (Grey Cat), and Co***ne. And yes, Co***ne is aptly named 😆 They’re all so sweet and silly, and I love seeing all of the different personalities between the different households of dogs. I love my job 🥰

I’ve gotten quite a few new clients since I made this page, so let me introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Holly Sebastian. I’m 24 years old, I am getting my Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling, and plan to be a Substance Abuse and Trauma counselor. In 2016, the year I graduated high school, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Ulcerative Colitis (UC for short). It’s similar to Crohn’s, where your body thinks your GI is making too much of a certain protein, so it attacks and causes inflammation, but only effects the colon. My body doesn’t break down food or vitamins the way it’s supposed to because of this, so I don’t get the nutrients I need in my daily life, and my body can’t handle too much fiber, dairy, or sugar. I was hospitalized twice for it, tried 3 different biologics and immunosuppressants to control it, and still after 6 years I’m not 100%. I AM doing better now, but when i was first diagnosed, I was barely 100lbs, very weak, and and couldn’t eat very much without feeling sick or being in the bathroom most of the day. I missed a semester of school and couldn’t keep a regular 9-5 job because my weight has fluctuated so much from not being able to eat properly and not getting the nutrition I needed even when I did eat.

I have always loved animals; my first memory as a kid was getting my childhood dog, and I’ve always had a way with them. So, when a work friend of my mom’s asked me to watch her dogs while she went on vacation, I fell in love. Here was something I could do that would give me money while I finished school, without the demand on my body that a restaurant or retail job would have. And so, I began pet sitting. Though I mostly care for dogs, I can also help with cats and birds if need be.

After almost 5 years of doing this, I have learned a lot. I have learned that I’m not perfect, and I make mistakes; that some clients aren’t forever, and that I’m not always the best person to care for certain pets, even if I want to be. But most of all, I have learned that while I love what I am studying and wouldn’t change my major or idea of what to do as a career, I love animals and my passion for caring for them has it’s place and reason too.
