Good Saturday everybody!

We will be in the shop Monday through Thursday and will be off Friday for a long weekend🤗

I am booked but Samantha has availability for a simple haircut on Monday & Wednesday. She also has time for some short hair baths and nails if anyone is interested please call 229-421-4102 to schedule a time to drop off your fur baby. ( Proof of current Rabies vaccination is required)

It's been another great week thanks to all of you!

Samantha has some availability for short hair baths and nails this week.

Grooming appointments are full up for this week but feel free to check when our next availability is or if we have had any cancellations!

Good morning everybody! Samantha and I have been busy this week! Thank you!

As I am getting older( yep I said it 🤣) and have taken on family responsibilities❤️; I am not able to accommodate everyone like I use to do😭.

Please help support the next generation in learning a trade that is quickly fading✂️.

Samantha knows the business inside and out.

She has worked with me since she could hold a dryer in her hand.

She has done every job imaginable in this business.

Over the past few years we have tried to employ other groomers without success.

Grooming takes time, patience, and is not as easy as it looks.

Samantha has decided to step up to the challenge and take on simple grooms.

All dogs who are scheduled with Samantha will be here for the day. 10 AM -5 PM no exceptions.

If you have a dog with a good temperament that needs to be shaved for the summer or a cute, comfy short one length all Samantha has a few openings this week.

Happy Sunday everybody! We will be back in the shop at 9:30 tomorrow!

Samantha does all of the short hair Baths, Nails, and Baths and Blow outs on Designer dogs without matting. Yes she has availability for current and new clients.

Samantha also helps me with the dogs that require extra assistance, handles the front desk and has family obligations too.

My Grooming schedule is full and I am not able to accept new dogs that require haircuts, trimming, or major de-sheds at this time.

Please check back periodically you never know when a grooming appointment may open up.

In the meantime
Samantha has agreed to take on a few haircuts.
Shes will take dogs with good Temperaments &
that are interested in cute,comfortable, shave downs, nothing fancy and your dog will need to stay for the day from 10-5.

Due to the fact we do not know how our days will go, we have a system in place to help us navigate the unpredictability of our days.

Good evening everybody!

It's back to just Samantha and myself again.......

Samantha does all of the short hair Baths, Nails, and Baths and Blow outs on Designer dogs without matting. Yes she has availability for current and new clients.

Keep in mind Samantha does not do any trimming, clipping or styling.

Samantha also helps me with the dogs that require extra assistance, handles the front desk and has family obligations too.

I am fortunate to be able to care for my Mom but this comes at a cost.

Adjustments are being made to the schedule and work load to accommodate my need to care for Mom.

It's been a rollercoaster of a week!

We will be closed Friday 5-23-25 through Monday 5-26-25. We will reopen on Tuesday 5-27-25 @ 9:30.

WHAT YOU DON'T SEE AT THE DOG GROOMERS.......
You dropped your dog off at the salon and picked them up few hours later - fluffy, fresh, and happy. But what you saw was just the tip of the iceberg.

You didn’t see your groomer arrive early to open up the salon, disinfect tools, lay out fresh towels, and check the day’s appointments. You didn’t see them look over your dog from nose to tail before even lifting a brush - checking the coat condition, skin, eyes, ears, nails, and weight.

You didn’t see the careful way they clipped around a wriggly paw, or how they paused to let your dog calm down during the bath. You didn’t notice the matting hidden beneath your dog’s topcoat, or the way the groomer worked slowly to avoid hurting the skin beneath it.

You weren’t there when they spotted a red patch of irritated skin, or a small lump you hadn’t noticed. You heard them gently mention it to you at collection - not to worry you, but because they genuinely care about your dog’s wellbeing.

And after you left, you didn’t see the clean-down , the floor swept, tables cleaned, blades oiled, messages replied to, notes written up for your next visit, and laundry on again.

All of that… for a price that’s often lower than what you’d pay for your own haircut. And your hairdresser?
They don’t have to bathe you, clip your nails, or hold you still while you try to bite the brush.

The truth is ……. dog grooming is so much more than a haircut.

It’s about health, hygiene, comfort, and trust. It’s about knowing dog anatomy, coat types, skin conditions, behaviour management, handling skills, and safe sc******ng techniques. It’s a profession that takes training, practice, and patience.
Most groomers got into this work because they love dogs. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be paid fairly for the physical, emotional, and skilled work they do every single day.

If your dog leaves their groomer happy, healthy and looking good - it’s not by luck. It’s because you have got a good groomer.
So next time, take a moment to thank them. Leave a review.

Tip them if you can. And above all - don’t undervalue them.
They’re doing far more than just washing the dog.

Samantha has room to bathe a few short hair dogs only as she does not groom.

There are no grooming appointments available at this time.

Happy Easter everybody!

We will be open Monday - Thursday 9:30 - 5:00.

We will be closed Friday 4-25 through Monday 4-28 and will be back in the shop on Tuesday 4-29.
