This pretty lady has been having some itchy skin issues with hot spots.
I've been giving her medicated baths the last few appointments and she is having some nice regrowth of fur coming in pretty quickly.
And her Dad told me she feels so good after her baths π
I use a shampoo and conditioner line of Davis Veterinary products which is highly reccomended by my veterinarian so if your dog has a skin infection, hot spots or allergies I have the stuff to help them feel better!

I'll be on vacation the week of the forth for a big dog show and some work we are doing on the property but will still be returning calls and messages.
It was brought to my attention that I had a minor glitch that I wasn't aware of so that too is being taken care of! Of which I would like to thank my fellow town groomers for calling the state on me because of that glitch! ... I wasn't aware I needed a 2nd license besides the town one.
But the inspector guided me on what to do and now I'm alset!
I have some exciting plans to add some awesome goodies to the business! Maybe a "Barkery" aka bakery for dogs!!! And some all natural bug sprays πΆ
I will also be hosting an open house and nail trim clinic in the near future so stay tuned!!!

If you have ever wondered if a "de shed treatment" works well here ya go!
De shed treatment consists of a shampoo and conditioner designed to open the hair folical and release all the fur that has loosened and is ready to shed out.
But it doesn't work unless you let it sit on the coat for several minutes while massaging in.
Then rinse and dry with a high velocity dryer.
Then a thorough brush out.
(I use a Chris Christiansen brush not a "furminater tool" which will cut the fur!)

Hey guys! I get alot of requests for large and giant dog appointments. Many groomers are not taking them due to the accommodations they require or just due to the amount of hard work they can be.
These are a few short videos (2 are in the comment section) of my expectations of what I require a big dog to be able to do.
I can not lift or wrestle and struggle, it has done a number on my body over the years hence why many groomers will limit what types of dogs they groom now.
I love big dogs so I will accommodate them. As many of you already know I breed and show English Mastiffs and German Shepherd Dogs.
However my dogs are trained very well and know how to be groomed so I have no difficulty handling them.
I've booked off many hours of appointments for big dogs in my new salon that I just could not handle due to fear or stubbornness or anxiety and had to send them home without being able to perform the service.
Not only was it stressful for the dogs that did not allow me to groom them but it also puts a huge gap in my schedule and loss of income.
So going forward I will only be booking big dogs that are used to the grooming process or that are puppies just starting out.
Also want to mention that I am now requiring a 48 hour cancelation notice.
Otherwise I will need to charge a fee to rebook your appointment
