Today was the day of H names. First I had the sisters Holly and Hattie and then I had one for this sweet boy. Happy birthday Hutch!

I made a fun Death by Not Chocolate this morning for 2 sisters. Holly got a treat for her 1st birthday last week. Hattie is celebrating her birthday next week. So their Mama decided to do a cake in between. I don't normally write on the DBNC cake but made the attempt this time. Writing with the PB frosting took some getting used to but I think it turned out alright.

The dog friendly candies will be heart shaped and will be peanut butter carob flavored. Each box comes with 5 treats.

Today my family and I made snow cream for ourselves. I thought the dogs were missing out despite eating snow straight off the ground. So I gathered some more snow, added milk, carob and just a few drops of vanilla. This makes enough for 2 larger dogs. Mix everything else together before adding to the snow. It will melt quickly.

They LOVED it and of course I forgot to record it. If it isn't too melted in the morning I'll make it again to show off.

Our little snow monsters. Harmony has had the zoomies all day and though Talley is slower she still enjoys a good flurry.

Orders will be a little behind due to everyone buying up all of the eggs at my local stores. It's a nice gift for me though to not be baking and having my husband and kids home for my birthday.

This year we would like to give a Christmas present to A Freedom Journey for the new year.

Next year we will donate 10% ALL of 2025 cake sales to A Freedom Journey. Mandee and all of her volunteers do so much for our community, lots that go unnoticed as well.

While our gift will help them next year the rescue needs help NOW. The end of the year is hard as we are all out Christmas shopping but even your spare change can make a huge difference. Please consider donating to them this holiday season.

Meet Cooper! Honestly if I had not known how old he was I would have assumed him to be a puppy until the last picture. This sweet boy was spatula fed on the counter for his 13th birthday. Welcome to the teen years Coop, hoping for many more still.

Thankful for customers like this today. We had a little emergency that led to me completely forgetting to finish a cake in time. The cake was cooling and I got a call and had to drop everything. She showed up for pickup and I wasn't there. I was mortified as it's the first time something like this has happened. Luckily I made it home shortly after and was able to deliver this birthday boy his 3rd birthday cake.

Thank you to anyone who has grace with small businesses. Most of the time we are one person shows and somehow still have to help ourselves and others in the midst of it all.

The new cake and wholesale binder that I'll be printing and leaving at the location at Dee-O-Gee Franklin, TN next week. Not all of my cakes are perfection, but I'm getting better and I love doing them. I love all the "crazy" requests or first time trying things. I really hope to attend a decorating class next year, so I can do even better for y'all!

Talley was our first baby, who came to us when I needed her most. They say you only get one heart dog but I believe I've been blessed with 2 in my life. Talley came to us just months after I lost my childhood dog, Precious. Precious was my childhood heart dog but she sent me the daughter I needed to be my adult heart dog.

Talley made us a family. We got her just a few months into dating. I didn't even live with her or train her for the first few months. Regardless she has always been there for me and I will always ALWAYS be there for her.

My dog has a better smile than me 😁

This post took some nerve to make. I expressed to our photographer how I hate pictures of myself. Between having kids and starting a business, I've forgotten about myself a little bit. I've been getting back on track but have a long way to go to be happy with myself. Then she told me something she saw in a video “You are good enough to be remembered so take the photos if not for your own sake but for the sake of those that love you.”

The reason I made the last picture in yesterday's post black and white was this. I wanted to share today that the girls are wearing the same colors here as they are in the logo.

These girls are the reason that Three Sisters Barkery exists. We started with Talley as our first sister who deserved a diet that didn't involve over processed ingredients or ingredients I couldn't pronounce. Then we added E and she needed A. Once we made our TEA 🤣 (never said that before) we needed something that brought in extra income and that E&A could be proud of. Three Sisters Barkery was born and the rest is becoming history!
