Once you learn to see it, you can’t miss it! Displacement behaviors present in all sorts of ways:
Sniffing
Scratching
Chewing
The list goes on

But you can always spot when they are displacement behaviors because they seem out of character and out of place!

Storm is the most handsome and down right sweet dog who belongs to family. He like many struggled with leash reactivity. Thanks to Steph and her amazing family Storm learned more productive ways to cope thanks to A LOT of cookies and thoughtful training plans.

Dogs who struggle with are having a hard time, not trying to give you a hard time.

The sooner you embrace and set up training sessions where your dog can succeed, the sooner you will see your dog feel better and in turn behave in a much more desirable way!
